The next morning, Chris and Suzy returned home after spending some quality time together far away from anyone they knew.

As Suzy exited the washroom in a bathrobe, Chris smirked at her. "Do you have to go to the office now? Why don't you stay at home with me?" he suggested.

Suzy settled on the vanity chair in front of the dresser and began drying her hair. "I wish I could do that, Chris. But I need to go. The work needs me," she stated, feeling a pang of reluctance.

Chris stood behind her, taking the dryer from her hand. "Relax," he urged, gently massaging her shoulders, "let me do it for you."

"You have become a gentle husband," Suzy stated.

"And you have become a good wife. You didn't scold me these days nor did you show your disinterest in me. But one thing that confuses me is that you didn't confess to me. And we did it last night," Chris remarked with an amusing smile.
