"Yes." Suzy replied dazed, she turned her face to look at Damien.

"Suzy, why did you marry such a brat?" Damien finally asked and praised her virtue, "You are such a smart woman. Men used to line for you. But you chose to marry that ill-bred spoiled heir of the Onetti Family."

His disgust towards Chris was evident in his words. His tone showed his frustration mixed with annoyance.

"My company was the reason Damien." Suzy finally spoke.

"Hmm… Why didn't you approach me for help? Why did you have to go to the Onetti's? You needed to call me once and I would have helped you without thinking. You know this well," Damien pronounced, expressing his concern.

"Well, I was in dire straits and you never crossed my mind. I couldn't think of you at that time. I tried all my contacts and none helped me out. So, in the end Grandpa Arthur provided the funds to save my failing company," Suzy explained to him.
