Suzy frowned at his unanticipated behavior.

'A while ago he was as sweet as a bubblegum. However, upon seeing Damien, he went all sour. What a pathetic jerk!' She cursed him inside her mind.

The whole 180 degrees change in his attitude baffled her, but she wasn't in a position to refute.

Despite her sorry state, she still went up to him, maintaining a short distance, her hands positioned on either side of her hips. Her arched head with chin pointing at Chris, she questioned warily, "What's wrong with your…"

She was in the middle of questioning, when she felt a big palm wrapping on her wrist. Like a whirlwind, she felt her legs were getting dragged roughly against the ground.

Her eyes widened in horror. Since the ground was uneven and not to mention the stony path, besides that, Chris wasn't in any mood to slow down his pace and she was wearing HIGH HEELS.
