Chapitre 9: Chen Xiaowen is mad
"Martial Brother, please undertstand! I did not get lost because I am lazy...there were many people coming to fight me!"
Xie Shoushan tries desperately to get out of the yelling.
"Why would they even fight you though?"
"Because....because I am very strong. She wanted to test my strength and see if I were strong enough to join her Cultivation Sect. I consented and we fought, I beat her though, apologies."
"Who was it? What was her name?"
Chen Xiaowen says with a no nonsense face. He wants the answer right this second.
However....Xie Shoushan..can't remember! He is just drawing a blank! Names are sometimes so easy to forget!
"..."
Xie Shoushan stays silent, he may seem like he's deep in thought but he's really just thinking of names to make up to pretend he remembers.
"Gao Fushuai, Martial Brother. Her name was Gao Fushuai."
Xie Shoushan arranged his face to make it look like he's being smart.
Chen Xiaowen took a step forward, studying the face of a liar.
"You are sure? Because I am not."
Xie Shoushan gulped. This was certainly not her name, but if he said he doesn't remember what would come of him! Chen Xiaowen would send him to prison!
Chen Xiaowen smiled then and walked away.
"Alright then. Good that you didn't run into anyone stronger! I've never seen anyone like Gao Fushuai. Let us go back to the village?"
"Of course, Martial Brother."
Xie Shoushan followed Chen Xiaowen into the village. Xie Shoushan went to a store to get some dumplings while Chen Xiaowen went to an important meeting with some government officials.
Xie Shoushan, after eating ten dumpling decides to take a walk.
"Walking in the fresh air with the birds is good and healthy!"
Xie Shoushan than heard a familiar voice.
"Chen Xiaowen...."
He peeks into a small room with a big red door, it looks very fancy and like a place he isn't allowed to be in.
He put his ear to the door comedically. Xie Shoushan is rather sneaky.
"-Yuan Zhilan is very strong."
"I know Martial Brother. If Xie Shoushan had fought her...he must be very strong."
"That's impossible! Yuan Zhilan may live around there but they would never have met!"
"Xie Shoushan would not be alive if he had seen her, she is very deadly."
Xie Shoushan took a step back from the door. They were talking about him! If Chen Xiaowen found out he were this strong they'd find out he was reincarnated! Xie Shoushan doesn't want this!
Xie Shoushan hops away from the door...but then he falls into a pot.
"AAAAAAAAAA!"
Xie Shoushan is very shocked!
The door creaks open.
A man with a big white beard is there. He recognizes Xie Shoushan and is very shocked.
"Why are you here??"
"Just...passing by!" Xie Shoushan gives what he hopes to be a nice smile and walks, or runs away as fast as he possibly can.
His identity is soon to be revealed! Please, Xie Shoushan escape while you still can!
