"Aren't you going to answer that?" The man beside her asked as he pulled the car into a parking lot.

As he had promised her, he immediately made a pit stop to eat. But contrary to what she had expected, it was not a first-class restaurant, and it was not even a cozy one.

But the constant ringing made her look at her phone again. And just like before, it was her friend, incessantly calling her.

"No, it is just Jules. I will call her later." Thalia answered, not feeling like talking to her friend about her current situation.

It was not like she wished to go out on a date with him. It was far from it. She wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. 

However, she could not wait to return to her restaurant, where she knew they needed her. She remembered the hundred things she still left unfinished. 

"Don't you want to tell her the exciting news?" Travis removed his seatbelt and turned to her.
