"Ugh!" She silently brewed with annoyance.

No, this was not what she foresaw her morning would be. She was not thrilled at all. Of course, she was not happy about any of this. 

How could she when all she wanted to do was stay away from him, the man she called her husband? But now, her son forced her to do the opposite.

But that was not Oliver's fault. He was an innocent casualty of this elaborate charade. If she would blame someone, she would point her finger at the other man in the room.

It was his fault as far as she was concerned because he was taking advantage of the situation. He was using their son to force her hands.

"So, where does it hurt?" Jules's voice was calm, but deep inside, she was seething. But she had to hide her underlying frustration, not wanting their son to get caught in the middle of their situation.
