Chapitre 170: The Raging Blizzard (2)

Princess Seline threw a glance out of the windows while she walked down the corridor, unaccompanied by her handmaiden. She was alone, wearing a warm but not too overly heavy coat, as she strode with her long steps, purposely making her way toward the main doors of the mansion.

Her hands were clenched tightly at her sides. Her mind was consumed by a single thought: she needed to see whether the maid was telling the truth with her own eyes. 

Was Nicolaus really having his rut right now?

Seline's forehead creased as she strained to hear the faint discussion ahead. However, the voices were muffled and low, barely even caught by the howling blizzard outside.

As she continued to walk, she saw Nicolaus coming in, heading to the entrance hall. Seline narrowed his eyes, immediately sensing that there was something different about him.
