Mira was unsure of what to do. Her eyes were in a cloudy gaze as they avoided making direct contact; her eyebrows drew together, forming a furrow between them as she pondered her options. 

Seeing Mira's hesitance, Lady Clarissa got up from the couch, the soft rustle of her nightgown accompanying her movements. She crossed the room, making her way toward the vanity on the far side.

There, resting on the surface, was a wooden box. Lady Clarissa opened it, revealing an assortment of jewelry.

She carefully rummaged through the contents, her fingers dancing over the items before pulling out a necklace that gleamed under the moonlight glow filtering into the room. 

The necklace was simple, featuring a golden chain that was holding a pure sapphire shaped like a teardrop.

With the necklace in her hand, Lady Clarissa extended it towards Mira, saying, "Here, have it."
