"Mother, I'm telling you that everything is under control, there's no need to come down here." Amrita garbled over the phone with her mother, the moment her car stopped inside the house for her to notice that she's at home.

She came down from the car in a haste, without waiting for her driver to come around to open the car for her, since she was in a heated discussion with her mother who was in Atlanta, and might be preparing her flight to come here to see Giovanni after hearing the incident with him.

Her mother has never really liked Edward, but here they were even till now she still likes to assume that Edward was not a good person, but she could say for herself and that of her family that what happened to Giovanni has nothing to do with him.
