It was human nature to be in awe in the face of strength and power.

This is true in this omegaverse world, where society comprises individuals with overwhelming power. High-level awakeners (regardless of their vocation) are the subject of admiration no matter where they go. They enjoyed a good reputation even with just plain breathing.

But for the hunters who dived through the dungeons and fought hard against the monsters that could potentially threaten humanity, the public treated them like they were celebrities.

They amassed a considerable number of fans in the crowd. If they are active on social media, it is natural to see their profile with thousands and sometimes millions of followers.

These days, it isn't a surprise to see the face of a hunter on billboards advertising a phone, car, or even a toothpaste brand. Even inhibitors have their hunter ambassador speaking for their brand, and they gain millions of money for doing it.
