Chapitre 44: Hoping for the best

"Everything's great. All the questions are great. Great annotation skills— but how the hell are we processing this if you didn't ask the name of the witness, Morgan?" The older cop asked with annoyance to what seemed to be his partner. 

New on the job, to say the least. The young man looked at the blonde in front of him, who was still holding a bloodied piece of fabric against the back of his head.

"C—Can you tell me your name, sir?" 

"Kyle Venegan." He mumbled, amused. At least something he could laugh about after what happened.

The old cop shook his head. "Thank you very much for your time. Would you like to press charges? If so, you'd need to come to the station with us."

He felt a cold run down his spine. Was it necessary? It was the first time she ever tried to hurt him. Would she try to do something worse to him? To Cassidy?
