Jacob's POV:

"Why did you send her back into her room?" Neil asked me and I sighed. 

"Because you were taking way too much interest in her." I retorted sharply. 

"Oh, so you're jealous, huh?" He asked, a smirk approaching his face. 

"Not at all. She doesn't mean anything to me. Why would I be jealous?" I asked him in a serious tone. 

"You seem like you're jealous," he said and smiled, lowering his head down. "Anyway, who is she, by the way and why is she here?" He asked further and I looked away, rolling my eyes up. 

"She's my friend's girlfriend. She needed a place to live. I offered her the guest room here." I told him and he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. 

"When did you become so generous?" He asked and smiled. 

"He's my friend, Neil. I had to do it for him." I replied. 

"For him or for her?" He asked in a teasing way.
