Ellie walked to her room holding a book in her hand, her head aching with numerous questions.
Upon reaching her room, her two friends immediately swarmed Ellie with concern and questions.
"Ellie, are you okay? Oh my, your face is so pale," said Magda, holding Ellie's hand.
"Is this because of the newspaper you read? Relax, Ellie, we'll always be by your side. You don't need to worry, we know you didn't do all those things!" exclaimed Rosalind, looking angry as she folded her arms across her chest.
Confusion was evident on her face. She didn't understand their words.
"What do you mean?"
Rosalind and Magda looked at each other and asked, "You don't know yet? Then why is your face so pale? Are you sick?" Rosalind asked cautiously.
"About what? I have a slight headache."
"I read the news–"
Magda pinched Rosalind's back hard. Rosalind, who was quick-witted, instantly stopped talking.
