Chapitre 78: “First mission”

Yosano carried a large sword compared to her small frame, and on her face was a somewhat scary smile. Henry carried a normal katana.
The swords clashed and produced a metallic noise in the air, Yosano despite losing in brute strength, was incredibly agile and had no fear. Henry had an expression of disbelief on his face.
A month ago Yosano started training with them and many took her as a joke since she was a girl who had almost no experience in battles, but now she was getting the upper hand.
Both took distance, and in a second Henry accelerated and hit with his sword towards Yosano's shoulder, when he thought that his attack was going to connect, Yosano turned and dodged it at the last second.
Yosano deliberately ducked and with one of her hands threw dirt at Henry in the direction of his eyes. Henry seemed to be used to Yosano's methods, but unfortunately, he didn't manage to dodge the dirt.
Yosano took advantage of Henry's closed eyes and with the hilt of her sword hit him in the stomach very hard, making him drop his sword and cringe in pain.
Henry slowly opened his eyes and looked up, he noticed an edge on his neck, "I win" said Yosano with a confident smile.
'Your talent is very good' praised Yamamoto internally. When Yosano arrived he thought she would only be a medic, he never thought that her battle power would increase by leaps and bounds every day.
All the people who were watching the fight were silent many with surprised faces, as they did not expect such an outcome. After a few seconds, they began to cheer and whistle for Yosano.
Yosano turned around with some arrogance, as everyone was cheering for her and looked at Tesoro with a smile.
"Damn tomboy" muttered Tesoro as he pulled out a lot of berries from his pockets and reluctantly handed them to Yosano.
As Yosano counted the money she earned, she noticed out of the corner of her eye a familiar figure, "Mr. Yamamoto, what brings you here?" asked Yosano as she quickly approached Yamamoto.
The people standing next to Yamamoto were surprised that the fire demon was standing next to him and they hadn't noticed.
"I'm here to discuss something with Saul" replied Yamamoto to which Yosano put on a droopy expression.
"Then I'll talk to you and Tesoro, I have an assignment for both of you" he added.
"Oh, that's great! But why with that stupid green-haired guy?" said Yosano more animated.
"Who are you calling stupid tomboy?" said Tesoro with a frown.
"Eh who are you calling a tomboy, you bastard?" said Yosano pissed off.
*Here they go again...* Stella thought with her eyes rolling as she walked over to calm the waters.
Yamamoto ignored them and headed towards Saul, "Hi Yamamoto! What do you need from me?" asked the giant with a friendly smile.
"Remember what we talked about Elbaf?" asked Yamamoto.
Elbaf was a New World country inhabited by giants. Yamamoto talked to Saul several days ago about having some giants join the Revolutionary Army, so Saul's division could have giants under his command.
Plus he plans to use them to help in the construction of the city, but he won't tell them that.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that! I was planning a trip to visit Elbaf, I have some friends there, and I'll try to convince them, but most giants only follow people stronger than them" replied Saul looking at Yamamoto.
Yamamoto's neck ached from looking at Saul, he was too tall.
"It's okay, I can take care of them" said Yamamoto vaguely, it would be strange for a giant to challenge him when he killed Sengoku the Buddha, but he is not afraid if he must fight.
"That's good to hear that dereshishi" Saul said laughing.
"I'll be leaving in a few days, can I use the ship? I don't think another ship will support my weight" asked Saul.
"Yes, I will go with you" said Yamamoto in a calm tone.
"What will you come with me to Elbaf?" asked Saul in surprise.
"Yes, it will be a long trip since we have to go to the New World" answered Yamamoto.
He couldn't let Saul go to Elbaf alone, it would be too conspicuous and easy for the marine or some Cipher Pol organization to follow him. That is why it was better to accompany him.
"Ok, I was also thinking of bringing Henry and the other guys, it will be good for them to gain experience and get to know Elbaf" commented Saul.
"Good, however, Tesoro, Yosano, Ralph, and Lego won't be able to go, I have a mission prepared for them" said Yamamoto. Then he said goodbye to Saul and called these 4 people to follow him to the village.
The 3 youngest ones (Tesoro, Yosano, and Ralph) were excited to have their first mission and to be able to leave the island, they had trained non-stop during this month and they wanted to prove it.
Arriving in the village, they went to Yamamoto's house who was currently living with Hocha. For Yosano they built a house all to herself, which served her well for her various experiments.
They all found room to sit on some wooden chairs that Henry's family made, "What is our mission?" asked Yosano expectantly.
Before Yamamoto could answer, a den den mushi began to sound, so he got up and answered.

"Yes?" said Yamamoto.
"Mr. Yamamoto, this is Ramses. I have a report to make" replied the husky voice that belonged to Ramses one of the slaves Yamamoto freed from Pluming.
"Report" said Yamamoto in a calm tone.
"We have arrived at an island that is 4 days from Aurora Island, it is not of great size and the only human trace we found was that of some pirates" explained Ramses.
Yamamoto had given a mission a few days ago to Ramses, Bob, Dom, Ed, and Gus, these guys were Pluming's ex-slaves and guards, so they knew how to navigate and defend themselves by their means.
The mission he gave them was to find people in trouble, such as slaves, people tormented by pirates, and so on. If they found someone in these situations, they would take it upon themselves to save them and bring them here somehow to join him.
This way they can also get money if it is a pirate or criminal gang that has money. He also gave them the mission to find information about the Meito.
A Meito is a type of edged weapon that enjoys recognition for its high quality. The 21 swords of O Wazamono grade. One step below the Saijo O Wazamono.
The Fifty Ryo Wazamono grade swords.
The Wazamono grade swords, there are an unknown number of these swords. They are the lowest grade, however, they are still better than the swords they have.
"Is he a famous pirate?" asked Yamamoto.
"No, for the Grand Line their bounty is no big deal, the captain has a bounty of 35,000,000 berries, he calls himself Red Dragon. They use this island as a base and they have a factory where they keep many people as prisoners, I guess they are slaves to sell them later" explained Ramses with hatred towards these pirates.
"Can they defeat them?" asked Yamamoto.
"No... They are more than 30 pirates and they are all armed" answered Ramses being realistic with his strength and that of his friends.
Yamamoto started to think and looked at the people in front of him.
"Hold your position and keep an eye on them. I will send people to help you defeat them" said Yamamoto. Then Ramses passed him the specific location of the island and ended the call.
"They have heard, that's your mission. They will defeat the Red Dragon pirates and free the slaves" said Yamamoto. At first, he was planning to give them another mission, but now there was no need.
