Chapitre 116: New Year’s Eve Dinner ( 2 )

Because it was New Year's Eve dinner, Lu Jueyu used ceramic plates and arranged the dishes beautifully. While waiting for the fish to be steamed, she used the brazier to make braised pork with taro.

Lu Jueyu peeked at Zhang Dongmei through the kitchen window. Seeing that she was still washing the pot, Lu Jueyu quickly took out the roast chicken she had made before from the space. After the steamed fish was ready, she cooked a pot of seafood soup.

After working in the kitchen for nearly three hours, Lu Jueyu and Zhang Dongmei finally finished preparing dinner. When they heard Father Li's voice coming from the front yard, they both breathed a sigh of relief. 

"Third sister-in-law, I'm going to call the children first." Zhang Dongmei said while wiping her hands on her apron.
