She pressed the answer button, and the woeful voice of Walden Abrams immediately came through, "Alla, you're still alive..."

Alla had left the Noir Suite not long ago but had not seen Walden Abrams, and her calls to him went unanswered.

She figured with all the gang underlings Walden Abrams had recruited, he should be safe. She merely sent him a message and then returned home.
