Chapitre 248: King and Queen’s First Day

"Chris, wake up, love. Hoven and the others are here," Elsa softly spoke while gently nudging her husband.

"Tell them I'm in pain and cannot get up yet," Chris said without opening his eyes and snaking his arm around Elsa's waist who was sitting beside him.

"Erhm, erhm…" Hoven intentionally cleared his throat loudly, causing everyone to giggle.

Chris sighed and cursed, before slowly opening his eyes. "What do you want? This better be good, you are disturbing my time with my wife."

Hoven looked at the servants who were looking back at him waiting for his reply to Chris' answer. If only it was back then when Chris was still a Prince he would yell at him and Chris would yell back before they laughed it out.
