Chapitre 23: Gregaaze The Fire Dragon King 3

Gregaaze noticed that he could feel the difference the energy had on his body when more of it would enter or leave. He would get a very slight morsel of strength before it would leave.

Gregaazs frowned, it made him stronger, but what was the point if it left immediately after?! He felt frustrated and then, as if clouds above suddenly didn't exist, he felt as though he had received an enlightenment!

"If it makes me stronger but then leaves, I just need to figure out a way to make it stay within!" He mused to himself. How does he do that though, is the question on his mind.

"Well, in order to keep fresh water for us to drink in emergencies, we need a container, so maybe this world energy needs a container? But where would I even get a container for this? It's not like it will just suddenly appear in my hands!" He thought to himself as he tried to work out the problem,"Wait. If the energy is already flowing inside, wouldn't I be the container?"

This was a weird thought to have as no one had ever thought about using themselves as a guinea pig! But desperate times called for desperate measures.

Gregaaze breathed in and out and then started to experiment on ways to keep the energy within him.

The Giant Ghost Tiger was pacing in circles around them as it patiently waited. It had waited all day for a good meal, what was 1 minute more?

However to its surprise, the creature it had been fighting before slowly started to wake up. Stelaaze was also surprised as she didn't expect with such grievous wounds for Gregaaze to even survive, much less get back up.

However when she looked at him, she could also see his spiritual state just like all the other gods could, and it was at this moment that she personally witnessed a miracle before her eyes.

Gregaaze was now standing tall with a smile plastered all over his face. He let our a hearty laugh that echoed loudly throughout the forest. The Giant Ghost Tiger took a couple steps back in anticipation. Although it could not feel the energy, it did not lack the sense to tell it that this creature was getting stronger! It was now dangerous!

Gregaaze spoke a single sentence,"I understand it now, it's so simple and pure and it's always been right there." He then let out another hearty laugh that seemed to be amplified much louder this time.

Then Gregaaze raised his right claw behind his head and willed the energy into his body to start attacking. Above his lifted arm a misty form of a claw started to appear and shape itself into deadly blades. It looked sinister and it also gave off a deadly heat!

The Giant Ghost Tiger was very afraid of whatever this was as it had never encountered this and thus tried to escape quickly!

However after going through all of this to get here, Gregaaze wasn't going to let it end like that and shot off in the direction of the Giant Ghost Tiger. He quickly caught up in a few seconds, his power and speed growing by the second as he absorbed more earthly energy. His claw was now fully formed as it exuded a furious and fiery intent to kill!

Just as the claw did, so too did Gregaaze, as he slammed his fiery claw down while blurting out instinctively,"Fire Dragon Claw!"

The Giant Ghost Tiger didn't stand a chance as the fiery claws easily ripped through its flesh, muscle and bone, dissecting in half at the neck in an instant!

The Giant Ghost Tiger now lay dead and Gregaaze was standing over it with a look of exhilaration on his face. He shouted as loud as he could,"I DID IT!! I AM THE FIRE DRAGON KING!!"

Then he suddenly remembered Stelaaze and turned around and sped back to check on her, his wounds slowly healing over time as the world energy automatically did it.

After checking to make sure Stelaaze was fine, the pair quickly grabbed the corpse of the Giant Ghost Tiger and sprinted back to Gregaaze's home!

Of course as soon as they got there a huge commotion was brought up.

They ran up to the entrance to the cave and one of the guards, Gregaaze's uncle Aurelaaze, immediately noticed the bloody Gregaaze and the bisected Giant Ghosy Tiger.

He nervously asked,"Gregaaze… did you…?"

Gregaaze nodded, as he had nothing to hide and said,"Yes second uncle, I killed it. Where is father? I made a breakthrough and urgently need his attendance!"

His uncle wasted no time upon hearing that! Imagine what he would be able to do in the future if he could already kill a beast even adults sometimes had trouble with! He hurriedly escorted Gregaaze and Stelaaze to the "Throne room", much to the shock of everyone that they passed as they saw Gregaaze and then immediately saw the Giant Ghost Tiger. It wasn't hard to put 2 and 2 together and this fact started to circulate quickly among all those that hadn't personally witnessed it.

Finally the trio arrived in the throne room, which was just a room where all the most odd and shiny things they could find over the years were stored.

"Gregaaze meets Father!" Gregaaze said while kneeling. All 3 were kneeling, as it was the custom when they were in their early stages, and his uncle just respected the king that much, and was very loyal.

The king, Gregaaze father, was staring in bewilderment as he looked at the still injured (not as bad as before) and bloody son of his and the massive Ghost Tiger that sat next to him on the ground!
