Chapitre 76: Caught in the act

After half an hour, Evangeline twisted in her deep slumber, opening her eyes slightly, surprised by the view of the wheatish chest in front of her.

She realized the kind of position she was in and raised her head slightly, her heart skipping a beat for a minuscule second as the familiar scent wafted through her nostrils, making her bite her lips.

In front of her, Alexander's form was laid back on the couch, probably to get comfortable while holding her.

His eyes were closed, and his soft breathing indicated he had also fallen asleep.

The last thing she remembered was hugging Alexander and provoking him while he was riding the bike.

Does that mean he has been holding onto her, despite how uncomfortable he must've been, just because he wanted her to sleep in peace?

What was he really playing at? One moment he growls at her, getting all angry and possessive, and the next moment he acts like the perfect gentleman there has been on earth.
