Chapitre 46: What it Truly Means to be Family Pt.1
LinLin was happy, extremely happy with this information, this meant her family would be tied to the Giants royal family in the future should she follow her Big Brothers words.
Although it irritates that her future daughter would go off and do that, with both his forewarning and plan she had a guarantee way of making the Giant Army be in a family alliance with her which would solidify her as one of the strongest forces in the world as a result.
Sure she did have Giants living in Totto Land as she had invited any that wanted to live in her territory as they were the only race she didn't force the monthly tax on as it would definitely strain relations if she did so, it's also why she hasn't gone and forced any giant to be her husband as that was another way to sour relations with them.
Giants have a custom that only the Men can seek out their future wife and not the other way around as it would go against their traditions, and while LinLin is beautiful, she is still shorter than the average Giant and thus they don't find her as attractive due to this.
She actually taller than she would have been in the original story due to my meddling making it so she stood at 33 meters instead of her original 29 thanks to the Gigantification gun I gave her years ago as constant use will make one become taller with time as a side effect, which the MK.2 that I have doesn't have that side effect.
But a short giant is only 50 meters so she's still really short to a real giant even after all that and thus she hasn't had giant children as a result.
"Oh right! I forgot to mention that I had a manor built for you Big Brother should you ever stop by and visit, it's actually right next to my castle." She said with a smile as she lead the way towards the place she made for me.
The people of Whole Cake Island were surprised that the Queen herself was leading someone personally instead of her chess guards so it made her people, and especially her children, curious as to who their mom was leading along.
"Hmmm…. He seems familiar…." A young 12 year old boy with a very long tongue said as he scratched his chin, this was none other than PerosPero the eldest son of the Charlotte Family.
"…. Ah! I think I remember now!" Another boy who was standing beside him wearing a leather vest and scarf said in realization.
"You know who he is Katakuri?" A kid with fiery red hair asked him, this was none other than Oven.
"Don't you remember? Whenever Mama would have her big birthday party she would hang up a big picture of a young guy wearing glasses! And I think that's who was always in the picture, the guy Mama calls Big Brother Hifumi, he was the guy who would deliver those really nice presents by floating balloon on her birthday, something Mama always loved to see!" Katakuri said which shocked all the kids that Big Brother Hifumi decided to show up!
Seeing this and being kids they were curious so they followed along to see what his deal is as everyone went towards my personal manor.
It was really nice, unlike being made of food it was made similar to look like a fancy dining set turned into a manor, it was made this way so that if LinLin ever got her Hunger Pangs she wouldn't eat her brothers manor by accident as she would be ashamed of herself if she did that so it was made to look like that instead.
"It's a beautiful place you have made for me LinLin, thank you for this, it will be the first place I will be able to call home here." I say with a smile as I see the lovely manor grounds that were being maintained constantly by Chess Servants who were going around and keeping the place nice, clean and pretty for me.
"Mama mama, don't think nothing of it Big Brother, for all you have given me over the years as gifts I think this is just a small thing I can do to pay you back for it all, but I must go, I need to set up a celebration for my return and for your arrival to my kingdom, so come to the castle tomorrow for the celebration Big Brother!" She said with a bright and happy smile before she began to skip back to the castle, clearly in a great mood.
"A party? Well I guess I can stay a few days." After all times not linked up with my world in the first place since I don't want it to be, I could stay here for years and never age as my age is linked to the time passing in my world after all but I don't plan to do that for the most part.
Though my Savior System has pinged me with the various people in this world who should be saved from their own tragedies if they can be and the rewards will stem from this world as a result for those I save.
But since I would be going out and doing it of my own volition instead of letting the system itself give me the missions so what I get from saving said person could be amazing or mediocre where as the missions will let me get at least something decent out of it like my Ultimate Disguiser title.
"Hmm? What are you kids doing over there? If you want to come meet me I won't bite you know?" I see the group of kids looking at me carefully as they only heard from their mother about me so they don't know what I'm like after all.
They were uncertain, but Katakuri took the first step forward and approached me before standing before me, at this point in time even though he was only 10 his head was almost up to my shoulders which showed me how tall he would become in the future, thanks to all my training and not being weighed down by my massive weight I have gone up from 5,4" to 6ft gaining 8in in only a few months.
"Your Big Brother Hifumi that Mama has been talking about right?" He went out and asked me which I nodded.
"That's right, and your Katakuri aren't you?" I say as I see his eyes widen slightly since he hasn't introduced himself yet.
"Oh don't worry about that, your mother loves to gush about her kids to me so I know your names, so do you need me for something?" I said letting the tension ease up for him after hearing that.
"…. Mama has always said you could do anything so long as someone asked for it…. Then can I ask you a fav-" but I cut him off.
"You want me to heal Brûlée's scar don't you?" I say with a smirk as I can see the shock in his eyes.
"Well I can, but in return I want you to hear a word of advice, one you shall take to heart above the shadow that's clouding your heart now, who you are, how you look and how you live gives no right for anyone to harm you or your family for the sins that they have done, so don't worry with me around you won't need to hide your true self anymore." I say as I pat his shoulder as those words visibly shake him from hearing that from someone even his own mother looks up to as a big brother and thus he really takes the words he heard to heart as a result.
"So don't use your scarf to hide yourself to protect your family, after all whats family for if they don't stick together through thick and thin, anyone that goes after anyone else just needs to be beat until their too scared to even think of harming them anymore." I say as he looks up at me and grabs his scarf after hearing that but doesn't pull it down instantly as his hand shakes as the trauma of what had happened to Brûlée was still fresh in his mind.
"I know it hard, but once you know you have that strength to protect them all I hope you can show your family who you are once more." I say rubbing his head, but he smacks it away and turns around.
"…. I'll think about it, now follow me, the sooner she's healed the better." He said before he began to walk away and I started to follow him to Brûlée's home.
