"I'm sure we can deal with it from here. Mr. Cyan, get that thing on the alter"
Just as Ms. White is about to thank Cael for his help.
The spere broke into bits, the sigil imploded and the force is enough to knock down the trio, Ms. White's hand ripped apart by some unknown force. Cael who reinforced his body is the only one who didn't suffer any injury..l
"Arghh!!"
"Yu... Blasphemers ....don' touch my lord..I will butch-"
*Bang*
*Bang*
Cael once again didn't let the Mind flayer continue and shot it continuously.
This only maddened the Mind flayer.
"Cael....., you are only making it ....angry. Your bullets won't work on ...!"
Nixie desperately warned Cael, as her being is polluted even more, she can't even fly anymore as she is slowly turning into a rock.
The reality distorted as rubbles and darkness spread across the area.
The pollution on the trio spread, and Cael jumped towards the Alter.
"Hey, Octopussy! Aren't you guarding this very badly "
When the Mind flayer saw that Cael is going toward the Ethereal Embryo. It became desperate and used its full force against him blasting him into the moat. His earring shattered into pieces.
Time slowed down tremendously for Cael.
His plan is to make it give up fighting by holding the weird thing on Alter hostage since it is guarding it desperately.
But things don't go as planned.
Cael could already sense it with his mind's eye.
It's gone overdrive with only one outcome.
His Death.
'So, this is how I'll die huh? It's not a bad life. I enjoyed my teenage this time. Let's give a middle finger to this fucker before I die'
Cael used his blood magecraft, a red streak appeared and pierced the Embryo like a whip and it returned to his hands.
He could see the fear in the eyes of Mind Flayer seeing its 'Lord' in hands of a human.
"Goodbye, Octopussy"
As Cael's body plummeted into the abyss.
He felt his ring which has been doing nothing until now suddenly glow.
Time stopped around him.
The Embryo glowed into a pure form of energy.
'True Ether!!'
Cael experimented with Ether element but it is a modern-day one and it's quite pathetic, as it is like a cheap imitation. Compared to it, the energy in front of him is simply Divine.
The Ether he experimented with is like dirt in front of this True Ether.
Before he could observe it, however. The Ring absorbed the True Ether.
"No, Don't! Give it back!!"
Cael shouted desperately but his ring already sucked the energy dry.
After losing its glow, the fleshy embryo didn't appear special at all. It turned into watery Goo.
The ring then transformed into a Halo and went above Cael's head.
Time resumed.
And Cael fell into the Abyss.
*Splat*
Cael's body crumpled as his bones have been shattered and the blood oozed from his mangled limbs.
The Watery Goo tried to overtake the dead body of Cael and entered its brain but then the Halo revived Cael and the WateryGooo tried to desperately escape but it couldn't and lost it's 'life'. Cael's body merged with the Goo as the Halo reformed his body.

In the Vast cosmos outside of Everything, An Eternal being focused its will toward the cosmos.
"It had quite the journey and finally awakened after all this time. I shall observe you from now on, you have potential"

"Huh? I'm alive?"
In the vast darkness, Cael felt a connection. Looking up, he saw a golden circular halo but he couldn't physically touch it.
He immediately knew about the Halo
Halo of Resurrection: A divine equipment created by the will of God of Eternity that could revive the dead instantly and alter the perception of the person Chosen by the Halo and shows what the chosen desires to the world. The Halo blurs all Fate a person is bestowed initially and can allow the chosen one to pursue their own fate.
During its dormant state, it would be in a ring form and is severely weak. It can at most reincarnate the chosen and can suppress the power of the user.
Cael didn't doubt the information because his origin analysis couldn't even affect the Halo.
"Is this plot armor?"
He couldn't help but snicker about it. He's getting annoyed at reviving again and again. Dying is not a pleasant experience. He didn't know what awaits after death but death itself is extremely painful and he wants to avoid it at any cost.
But he already died twice and this halo is like an ominous warning that he will experience even more deaths.
"So, I'm not a cold-bloodedooded monster after all. I still have some humanity left in me"
He understood what the Halo is capable of, with this the chances of reaching root have highly increased, granted he had paid a heavy price for it.
"It's time to destroy the fucker"
He willed the Halo and himself to become invisible to the world.
Then, his physical size changed. His body grew taller and larger till its 100's of meters tall.
He could see the battle between the Mind Flayer and the duo as his head touched the ceiling of the cave.
"Their battle capabilities are surprising. They are not mages, they are more like combatants"
His size decreased to normal as he stood on the battlefield.
He took his briefcase and picked up the shards of the sphere he used to trap the spirit.
He used Alchemy to merge the two of them to create a new container. It is stronger than the previous one.
He found alchemy too easy after ressurcution and want to question it but now is not the time.
He willed himself to appear again.
As the Mind Flayer is fighting with the duo by altering the surroundings and probabilities.
Cael enhanced his legs with strengthening magecraft and ambushed the Mind Flayer.
"You think I didn't sense you!!"
The Mind Flayer turned and tried to Invade his mind but Cael just smirked.
The Mind Flayer froze.
"You!!"
Bloody wings appeared behind Cael.
"As much as I want to explain what's going on, this is not an anime. So, please get sealed"
Cael opened the briefcase and a force sucked the spirit.
"No#%%o@#%%$ooood&---"
Cael sighed and sat down on the briefcase, his wings disappeared.
Ms. White and Mr. Cyan saw Cael's appearance and felt relief.
"Don't worry, this Briefcase is a stronger version of the Sphere. I'm sure, it can contain it "
Killing spirits is impossible, at least with Cael's abilities. So, he made the sphere to contain them as he took inspiration from a cube that contained a certain strongest sorcerer.
This briefcase is even better than that. Although, he wants to know why and how he could do that.
" You are alright!" Ms. White expressed her happiness however, her expression is a little complicated.
"I paid a heavy price for everything. If anything, I'm not"
Cael spend a lot on the sphere. It's a material that cost a fortune.
"At least you are alive" Mr. Cyan commented.
"Whatever, Can we get out of here now?" Cael asked, after all. A lot happened and he gained something valuable.
"We will handle it from here, Thank you for your assistance" Ms. White commented.
Cael felt an imminent threat. His mind's eyes once again warned him to fight or die. He clearly knew what is going to happen but then
"Ms. White, I'll escort Mr. Cael and his companion. Please be here"
Cael's sense of danger diminished.
Mr. Cyan helped Cael to leave the cave. He lost all of his mystic codes, the only mystic code he has is the Gun.
On the way, they met Daphne who is kneeling and sobbing.
They stayed silent as they reached the end, once they reached the Entrance of the well.
Me. Cyan asked "Mr. Cael, Ms. Daphne. I have a request"
"Please go on"
"Our existence is a top secret. We can't let anyone know about our existence and generally silence others but It's undeniable that you helped us a lot. That's why, please sign a pact that you will not disclose anything about us to anyone. We won't report on you. So, you'll be safe"
"Very well"
Cael agreed, he knows how destructive everyone and everything in Nasuverse is.
Even the so-called heroes are just a bunch of murderers of humanity.
Honestly, humanity makes his skin crawl.
If he managed to attain magic, his first goal is to leave this world and this disgusting humanity.
So, it's undeniable that secret organizations that 'protect' humanity also would do anything for their goals.
It's best to agree to their more advantageous conditions.
After they made a pact with Mr. Cyan, they left the city.
"They left the town, my lady" Mr. Cyan respectfully bowed to Ms. White.
"Thank you for acting before me, Al. I was thinking about killing them but I don't think I live with it. After all, with this, I'm sure I can finally gain an advantage in the right to succession" Ms. White carried the briefcase.
"Certainly, My lady"
"I think we have to recruit him. He's extremely capable from my observation" Ms. White expressed her opinion.
"I would suggest against it, my lady. The family head doesn't like outsiders, if anything this will decrease your chance of succession"
Ms. White didn't reply to his suggestion, her thoughts are on somewhere else.
