Mick had a team of seven and they went outside to battle the zombies, they had melee weapons but what was most interesting was the additional layer of clothing they all wore at the gate so they could have more resistance to a zombie's bite.

The zombie's teeth couldn't penetrate this fabric as easily as they could normal clothes but Mick also permitted them to carry their guns even though he forbade anyone from firing them.

The gates opened and they rushed outside to fight the zombies but Carl knew now wasn't the time to stand idly as he had been learning to use a bow and arrow for combat due to the potential it had.

Carl was still clumsy with it but he knew that now was the best time to use it on moving targets.

But he had to be careful as he risked hitting his people and that was the last thing he needed right now.
