The night progressed and the stars shone alongside the moon, the night was chilly, far from what they experienced during the day.

The world was quiet, the only thing that everyone heard was the zombies roaming around.

Rachel had danced with death and survived, now seeking refuge on top of a bus with no backup or hope of getting out of there.

She didn't know where the dog was and didn't want to find out, there was no way that the dog would leave because it should still be able to perceive her scent.

Luckily for her, the dog didn't possess the intelligence it would otherwise possess if it was alive.

The upper hand it had with other zombies was the fact that their noses were sharper.

This made them a lot smarter compared to the other zombies, and their speed made them a lot deadlier.

Rachel was stranded and all she could hope for was everyone was okay as there was nothing that could be done at this moment.
