The sudden knock on the door snapped Bei Sangyun out of her thoughts.

The door opened, and Fei Chuan's head popped in. He cautiously peeked into the room.

"Still busy?"

Bei Sangyun immediately stood up and sprinted towards Fei Chuan. "I'm not, my meetings ended a while ago. How are you? Is it alright for you to walk around now?"

She tiptoed and put her hand on his forehead, checking his temperature. His fever had subsided last evening, but the doctor said he still needed to rest today. Fortunately, his temperature was normal.

"Have you eaten? Have you taken your medicine?"

Fei Chuan chuckled at Bei Sangyun's barrage of questions. "I'm fine. The doctor said taking walks would be good for me. I haven't eaten yet; I was waiting for you." He answered all her questions with patience.

Seeing the bright look on his face, though slightly pale, Bei Sangyun felt a wave of relief.
