"Is this the last one?"

The man at Luan's feet groaned but as the sword pierced his chest, no more life signs could be detected.

"What time it is now? Is it very late?" He asked. Unlike the cold precision when he killed, the question was much softer as if he decided to hide his true nature.

"Almost one hour after midnight, commander," Gant answered. He was the one supporting the leader with the cleanup of the area tonight, but all he did was watch how Luan single-handedly hunted the intruders down. It wasn't even called a match, but a one-sided massacre.

"Take care of this mess… Not a single drop of blood should be visible by the morning," Luan ordered indifferently.

"What should we do with the bodies?"

The commander looked down at the corpse with disgust reflecting on his eyes.

"Collect their thumbs and send them to the Duke Idir… He should at least know what happened to his men."
