Xia Lihua had no interest in eavesdropping on Xia Mengrui and Yang Lingyun's conversation.
She couldn't help but view him as shameless.
Just last month at the auction, he had been dancing with her and then probably ran to Xia Mengrui as if nothing had happened.
Recalling how he had been staring at her when she was on stage made her skin crawl. She couldn't fathom dating someone as cold and distant as him, no matter how good-looking he might be. She preferred the warmth and affection of someone more akin to a golden retriever.
With a nod, she put on her earphones and continued drawing cute doodles on her journal.
"Hmm, do you have something to say?"
Xia Mengrui felt a twinge of excitement, sensing that Yang Lingyun was not angry. "You came to see my performance?"
"Yes, I did."
"But you..." Xia Mengrui hesitated and bit her lip. She knew he wasn't actually watching it.
