Sighing once again, Midas continued looking through his memories, realising that as much as there were downfalls to an incarnation staying on their Planetary Body of Origin, there were also benefits as well.

The Universe was "fair" to all its creations. The Ascension System ensured that Gaia would only ever be in contact with Planetary Bodies of the same level and this meant that as things stood, Midas and the rest of humanity were "safe"…

For now.

That was because before her Evolution, Gaia was a Tier 0 Planetary Body and would only come in contact with other Tier 0 Planetary Bodies like her which were mostly failures and weak guys separated by lightyears of space.

No wonder humanity hadn't seen any alien life. It was tough to breed! Gaia was special for having created humans like Midas and she was also special for having selected people like Midas to undergo the Trials for her, surviving long enough to give her the right to evolution.
