Chapitre 138: Hera's Revenge

"Mother, what are you doing here?" Kane asked with confusion on his face. He was appalled to see his mother, wondering if she had been following him. Sometimes Kane didn't appreciate how clingy and overprotective his mother could be. Especially now, he didn't appreciate her being there. Kane didn't want Hera to interfere in what he planned to do with Albert.

"You should return to the palace... " said Kane with a frown on his face. " I have things under control, Mother. You don't have to be here."

Hera looked at Kane for a moment then peeled her gaze off him with a roll of her eyes. She glanced behind her and her maid rushed to meet her with something in her hands.

Hera collected the box, opened it and took out a syringe. There was a smirk on her face as she did all these as if she experienced pleasure.
