Chapitre 127: Chapter 127: Cold shower

Everyone left soon after and returned home to tell their family members the good news. Well everyone but Wren.

She stayed and remained cuddled up to Cardan on his lap with a blanket wrapped around her.

Cardan meanwhile was finishing a high fantasy book series he started a few weeks ago while gently rubbing Wren's back who fell asleep in the peaceful silence.

Until Wren's stomach decided to make itself known.

Wren didn't even flinch when she woke up just looked at Cardan with expectant eyes as he smirked her way.

"You hungry already" Cardan teased her.

"Blame your food for being too good" she replied with a pout on her lips.

Cardan smiled at her answer. He tried standing up but Wren refused to budge from him.

"Princess can you please move a little" Cardan asked her gently but she didn't reply and just continued looking at him cutely.
