Easton watched a distracted Cardan for a while. Since they had arrived to work his mind had been somewhere else.

Sighing Easton returned back to his notes on accounting ignore him he's your love rival Easton told himself internally but that quickly got old as he turned back to Cardan.

"What's got your panties in a twist?" Easton questioned him a bit hushly too.

As if noticing that Easton was with him he looked straight at him "Nothing you should be worried about East-TON" after saying that he returned back to his own notes but still couldn't focus.

Easton's lips twitched before going back sighing. His mother had left them to study in her office and said that they should at least try getting along, much to his detest.

"Look man I don't know who hurt you but I know the test tomorrow is going to murder you if you don't revise your notes" Easton grunted out.

If he had known that Cardan would have still done well given his exceptional memory he would have kept his mouth shut.

Cardan didn't reply hence Eastern returned back to his notes.

"...I just found out my friend someone I considered a brother lied to me about his entire life" Cardan finally said after a long silence.

Easton looked at him in shock and interest. Shocked at the fact that he actually answered him and interested because of well...the drama.

"Ahem" Easton cleared his throat as he turned to Cardan "I'm listening" he put his hands on his lap as if he was a psychologist.

Cardan sent him a glare before continuing "I don't know what to do...what would you do if you where in my place?"

What kind of question is that he didn't even give the details of the dra- story. Easton internally said a frown mirroring that of Cardan appeared on his face.

"Well if I was you I would be deeply hurt honestly speaking, but I'd also want to know why he did it. Maybe he has his reasons and if only if their reasonable enough will I think of forgiving him. I'm not saying I would but I would consider it. Depending on how reasonable it was." Easton answered him.

Cardan nodded his head for a while and shockingly so his head began to clear after a little while. But the ache in his chest didn't.

"Although you answer wasn't good enough thanks Easton" Cardan muttered gentlely

Easton twitched "Good enough you should be paying me and praising me for even helping you. Do you know how many people would want this treatment and yet you received it for free"

"You mean the people that don't even exist and I won't pay for you mediocre help" Cardan rolled his eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean I do talk to people" Easton huffed.

"Look you can huff and puff all you want the truth still remains as it is you don't have any one to talk to let alone need your services" Cardan rolled his eyes once more as a smirk appeared on his face one that inked Easton to the core.

"...I do have people to talk too" Easton muttered.

Cardan raised his eyebrow in interest "Enlighten me"

"M-"

"Your mom, Remy, John, the teachers, Wren, Noa and I don't count" Cardan stated after cutting Easton off.

"Don't flutter yourself I talk to more people then that" Easton grambled as pouted unconsciously.

"Yeah I'm listening" Cardan replied.

A long silence commenced. With a mocking smile appearing on Cardan's face and Easton getting angerier by the second and embarassed.

"Easton do you even have friends?" Cardan teased him.

"Shut up!!" Easton exclaimed as he lunched a book at Cardan which Cardan promptly dodged.

Easton returned back to his books trying to focus on his notes. The same issue that plagued Cardan had affected him now.

Seeing this Cardan sighed as he called out to Easton "Sorry dude I didn't mean to tease plus your fifteen you can still make friends and if that proves to be a huddle and maybe university or out in life."

Easton's shoulders relaxed.

"And if all fails you still have me and Remy" this time a book hit Cardan's head.

"Who wants to be your friend!?" Easton shouted.

"Hey I'm only offering the bear minimum and I don't usually do so usally I would ask the person to be my brother or I'd adopt them as my brother" Cardan explained calmly so as if calming a baby tiger whilst rubbing his head.

"Are you saying my standards are low Cardan" Easton's fists began to unclench and cleached over and over again.

"Look I'm just saying there's no way I'll adopt you as my brother unless of focus you marry my sister-" Cardan paused as if he realised something thing.

"You have a sister. And no I'm not marrying into your family I'm already in love with someone else." Easton said as he managed to calm himself down.

"Noa's mine, but I don't mind selling you my sister she's a bit young now. You'll just have to wait for a bit longer" Cardan talked about selling his sister as if talking about bread and butter.

It's good I never said anything about my family except that we where poor. And since she told me to find a husband for her before I left with Zaden being in love with Mia I can s-give her to Easton he doesn't seem like a bad guy. Either way I'll have to train him to treat my sister well.

Easton looked at him in disgust "How can you pimp out your own sister you pervert"

"I'm not pimping her out she said I should find a husband for her and you seem like the perfect guy" Cardan stated sounding a lot like a sales pitch prepared to talk about the benefits of their product.

"I'm not giving up Noa for a kid that isn't even a full adult yet."

"Even when she has more pros then cons"

"Her biggest con is her being related to you it's beats any type of con in the world. Now shut up I want to study" Easton returned back to his books.

Well I tried Cardan thought internally a smile still on his lips too.
