Chapitre 3: Chapter 2
I woke up because of the noise I was hearing. I opened my eyes and saw Starla she was checking her bags for something. When she saw me she said "Oh did I wake you up?, Sorry"
I said "you don't have to worry, I was about to wake up after all" she nodded and left to the bathroom. I took out my phone to see if I'll get network, but all to no avail.
Starla came out and saw me shaking my phone and gave me a confused look, so I said "What?! I'm trying to find reception, even if it's a bar, I'll appreciate"
She said "What are you using the network to do?". I said "seriously, Ok I want to find out about my location, I want to know where I am in this planet called Earth, who knows we may not be in America anymore"
She started laughing like I said something funny, but when she saw my serious look she said "You seriously, don't know where you are? Ok who brought you to the Academy?"
I said "I don't know, two men in suits, they dropped me at the Academy and I think it was them that brought my bags up here". She looked at me and said "You must be very important, for them to drop you off directly". It was not audible but I heard it.
I didn't understand the meaning but she continued "Don't worry, everything will be resolved on the orientation day" I said "which is.....?"
She said "I don't really know, it's normally when all the students come back to school". I said "so there are still people yet to come?". She said "not really people it's more like a person" then she yawned and stretched her hand, and a mark on her arm caught my attention.
I asked her "Starla, what's that on your arm". Age looked at it and said "It's a star" and laid on the bed. I said "It's beautiful, did you go to the tattoo shop to get it drawn?". She said "What tattoo shop? It appeared on my arm recently, but I have others" with that she fell asleep.
I couldn't believe what I just heard, she had tattoos like me. It didn't get drawn, it appeared. Oh God Please Help Me!!!! I think I'm loosing my mind now. I shook my head till I felt it was going to fall out. I decided not to think again till the next day. I looked up and started counting numbers and before I even knew it, I was given a deep embrace from sleep.
"Morgan! Wake Up" "Morgan! Wake Up"
I shifted on the bed and looked up to see Starla, at first I was surprised because I was in a different room, but I soon recognized my environment and said "What is it?"
She said "Get up, go and have your bath, it's time for school". I looked at her, she looked like she just got out of the bathroom, because her hair was wet and she was holding a towel. I stood up and grabbed my things even a new change of clothes and went to the bathroom.
After bathing, I came out all dressed up, I wore a pair of black combat trousers and a black long sleeved Polo with combat boots. I was trying to dry my hair. I said "I'm ready", by now Starla had already packed her blonde hair in a ponytail. She said "Woah, Morgan, you look like a soldier " I smiled and said "What classes do we take?"
She said "You know, the normal classes you take back home, at least until after Orientation, then the real classes start". I was about to ask what she meant but she grabbed my arm and took us out of the hostel. We were walking down a hall, that she said would lead us to the classroom, when a student told Starla that a teacher was calling her.
She told me to continue walking straight that I would see our class sign, and she left me. I was walking through the halls for almost 2 minutes and yet the class was not near. I was actually looking at the floor while walking, then I bumped into a wall and hit my head.
I closed my eyes and rubbed my forehead and mumbled some curses for the wall under my breath. Suddenly I thought to myself how a wall could be in the middle of the hall, so I looked up to see the wall and how I actually bumped into it.
Looking up, I found out that the "Wall" was not a wall but actually a human being. Gosh his chest is so hard. I looked up at his face and gosh, I could've melted right now. He was sooooooo beautiful. How was it possible? His features were very perfect and sharp.
He said touching my forehead "Are you alright?". I was lost in his voice and I couldn't be found. I even forgot about his question. I was thinking about his handsome face and his handsome voice. I suddenly remembered that he asked me a question, so I said "I-I I'm good, I was supposed to watch where I was going, but I did not"
He said "No don't blame yourself, are you sure you're ok?". I smiled and said "Yh I'm sure". He said "Ok" he looked at me for a while and said "I've not seen you before are you new here?". I said "Yes, I'm new"
He said "oh ok, I'm Xavier and you are...?" I said "I'm Morgan, nice to meet you" He smiled and gosh he had a wonderful smile and said "Nice to meet you too", he continued "Where are you going to?". I said "I'm actually looking for my class" He said "oh let me direct you, what's the name of your class" I told him the name of my class and he led the way. And in less than 2 minutes we're already at my class and I saw Starla looking for me.
When she saw me, she ran and hugged me,"where were you? I thought you got lost" I said "I was actually about to loose my way but he helped me". She looked at him and said "Xavier, How are you?" He said "I'm good, oh is she your friend?" She smiled and said "Yes and my roomie". Xavier said "I gotta run, bye for now" and winked at me, I blushed real hard and Starla poked my ribs.
We went to the class and sat down waiting for the teacher to come. I took my time in observing the classroom and everyone seated in the class. I noticed one girl that walked in as if her father was the owner of the school. Her aura was arrogance and she looked rude. A girl bumped into her and she made the girl apologize like a lot of times. And spoke rudely to the girl. I asked Starla "Who's she?" She said "She's Aliya"
