After Yan Shu was done with her instructions, she left the VIP ward. Looking at the time, it was not time to start work yet, so she turned around and arrived at her mother's ward.
Under Professor Jason's treatment, Mrs. Yan's heart ailment was well-controlled and she was transferred to an ordinary ward.

Yan Shu said truthfully, "I have asked him for it. He said that he would return it to me when he gets his salary."
Mrs. Yan said angrily, "He used your money to support the third party in your relationship. Do not indulge such a heartless person. You have to chase after him and make him pay you back."
Yan Shu sighed and said, "I have no other ways."
Mrs. Yan's eyes lit up. "Since he's being so shameless, I will have to use extreme methods to deal with him."
Yan Shu didn't take her mother's words to heart.

"What are you doing here, Auntie?" he greeted her pleasantly.

Gu Yucheng's face turned red with embarrassment. "Auntie, this is not a convenient place to talk. Let's talk somewhere else."
Mrs. Yan's intentions were solely focused on seeking revenge for her daughter. Not only did she want Gu Yucheng to repay the money, she planned to embarrass him as well.
She deliberately raised her voice. "Gu Yucheng, don't even think about sending me away. If you don't return my daughter's money today, I won't leave. I want your colleagues and your patients to know that you've been living off your girlfriend for ten years. In the end, you hooked up with your girlfriend's best friend and then, you kicked out your girlfriend. You have conveniently forgotten about the 200,000 yuan that you owe her. Since you have no shame, I'm willing to stay here and confront you until the end."
More and more people started to gather around. Although Gu Yucheng had just started working in the hospital, he had gained the favor of many medical staff.
In order to protect his image, Gu Yucheng began to twist the truth. "Auntie, don't spout nonsense. You said that I borrowed money from your daughter. Do you have evidence?"
Mrs. Yan was not prepared and was speechless.

Gu Yucheng smiled smugly.
Mrs. Yan was furious. "Who wants to marry their daughter to this ungrateful wolf? My daughter would rather marry a chicken or a dog than such a terrible person."
Gu Yucheng was afraid that more of his dirty deeds would be exposed if Mrs. Yan carried on. So, he called Yan Shu and told her angrily, "Take your mother away. Don't let her embarrass herself at my workplace."
Yan Shu was shocked. She was afraid that her mother might do something rash, so she ran over anxiously.
"Mother. What are you doing?"
Mrs. Yan pointed at Gu Yucheng and said with bloodshot eyes, "Shushu, this scumbag denied using your money."
Gu Yucheng looked at Yan Shu. Knowing that Yan Shu was thin-skinned and well-mannered, she wouldn't want to fight with him in public.
At this moment, the surrounding colleagues were shocked. "Oh my god, Dr. Gu and Dr. Yan used to date?"
The doctor in the consultation room was a well-known expert in the industry. She said to Yan Shu earnestly, "Doctor Yan, it's very common for young people to break up when things don't work out. After breaking up, you can still be friends. There's no need to end on a bad note."
