Chapter 102: Nine Sea Gods Trial 9

(A/N: just a warning to all readers that I will not be doing the bones in correlation to the test in the same order as the Tang Sans test. i'll follow the list downward in terms of the emotion test but not which bone they represent)

The 8th trial, The Seven Emotions Test begins with the Test of Joy. Xue Tie feels his Torso bone, which was offered to him by the Black dragon Emperor of the Great Star Dou Forest in exchange for extra refinement services. It's a Torso bone that belonged to the Fire Dragon Emperor
(FLASHBACK)
Xue Tie is currently at Great Star Dou Forest giving a report on the circumstances of the Blood Beast experiment. He has been doing this for the past few months as he offers more beasts the chance of offering their blood in exchange for refinement. Which is a fairly popular offer amongst the beast emperors. During his current visit Di Tian has been acting weird.
"Alright, my work here is done, ill be taking these and getting back to work now. See ya" Xue Tie stores the blood, essence, and bits of body parts which were contributed for the cause.
"Human surnamed Blood. Wait for a moment" The Golden Eyed pitch black dragon asks Xue Tie to stop.
"Hmmm?" Xue Tie stops and looks back at the Beast god of Star Dou Forest.
"I serve as a mediator for a deal with 2 conditions to you. In exchange for these two conditions, you shall be given this."
With trembling claws, it brings out a Torso bone that raises the temperature of the surroundings by quite a few degrees as it is released from Di Tian's spirit power.
Xue Tie is intrigued by this as he is missing a chest bone specifically, "What are your conditions?" He says with a grin.
The first condition is that you raise up at least 5 beasts every time you visit here free of charge."
"Your phrasing gives me plenty of freedom, are you aware of this?"
"We know that you are unlikely to not come back every few months as the very name of 'Blood Beasts' showcases that a lot of resources are needed to provide a body for a creature without a soul. You demand body parts because the blood alone is not enough. I've kept track of our exchanges, I can tell how much you are using in each of your attempts if they take a certain amount of time." Di Tian states and this leaves Xue Tie in shock.
"Wow, No offense but I didn't know you were such a brainiac ... .and I still don't. But I can accept this first condition. What is the second"
"I want you to…."
"Oh, sure. Sounds fun"

How Di Tian got his claws on such a high grade bone, Xue Tie can only guess that it's because of a certain dragon. After all, the fire dragon emperor died in the heaven realm and its spirit had merged with the Ice Dragon Emperors spirit to form the YinYang Well in Sunset Forest. Many other dragon emperors died during this time period as well but the only living remnant of this order is the Silver Dragon Emperor which is the counterpart of the Golden dragon Emperor which forms the Dragon God in Heaven Realm.
After their deal was finalized, Xue Tie absorbed the Torso bone at that time which is what allowed him to reach Limit Douluo. His fire had undergone another evolution but since the spirit was in the YinYang Well, it did not release any spirit to the DeathCore during its formation.

And now the Torso bone is dismantled into motes of energy that reform into the Dead God Armaments. The specific form is that of a black chestplate and greaves. The chestplate is adorned with tiny black feathers which give him a sort of bird-like disposition
While this transformation is going on, Xue Tie's mind is lost in the dreamscape of the illusionary array. He witnesses his old life in an accelerated process and only focuses on everytime he was truly happy. The joy is addictive and attempts to smother him into eternal sleep as he relives these moments. Unfortunately he breaks through it a moment later repeating joyful memories over and over again ruins the true experience until it's just hollow. The array then tried to trick Xue Tie that painful memories were joyful/pleasurable instead but that just incited his rage which is how he broke out of it.
Right after the first emotion, the test emotion comes right at Xue Tie and it is the very anger that broke him out in the first trial. In exchange, he loses his right leg bone which belonged to the Evascent Bull in the Volcanic region of Mt. QiXiao. The leg bones morph into simple leather-like footwear with more feather-like designs, that is the Death God Right Leg Armament.
Xue Tie on the other hand is experiencing every instance of bullying, casual annoyance and irritation he has ever experienced. This reverts him into a baby-like mentality as he sinks into the ocean of hate over every-single inconvenience that he has experienced. He breaks out of it when he remembers his late fight against Mohg in the Elden Ring. He re-experiences his own death which is a pain that is strong enough to shock him out of his rage.
Sorrow is the next emotion to strike and it takes his left leg bone from the Flaying Blood Scorpion that he found in the Nevermore Forest. The emotion in question is Sorrow, and it takes his left leg bone and changes it into the new Left Leg divine armament that takes a similar design scope as the right leg but it holds scales-like patterns instead of feather based.
What Xue Tie experiences is instead a new concoction of what he knows and what he experiences. His mind merges his current reality of his current relationship with BiBi Dong and combines it with the original content of Qian Xunji claiming BiBi Dong in front of him. He can stop it with just the lift of a finger. Xue Tie grits his teeth but doesnt do anything. Instead he says.
"Qian Xunji, If the original you is my heart devil in this situation then i shall exterminate you a million times until MY HEART is appeased."
MEANWHILE
In a posh looking office space, A long platinum blond haired middle aged man with a face plate that covers half his face, begins to cough up blood all over the paperwork he was working on. This is naturally the branded Qian Xunji whose face brand has been activated. He collapses over his desk as his heart is destroyed and all his blood burns into ash. Leaving behind a pristine corpse of bone, muscle and nerves.
Xue Tie witnesses the naked illusion version of Qian Xunji spontaneously turn to dust and the illusion falls.
FEAR. This emotion converts the left arm bone which belonged to the Evanescent Frog. The left arm is coated in a burn like blisters of a silver color while taking on the same shape as his original gloves when he first awoke his martial spirit.
This time around, Xue Tie experiences all the fear of both lives. In his first life it was heights, swimming and a cryptid named Miss Annity (A/N: do not look her up or CryptTV. The creators know wtf they are doing) who along with the local woodwalkers from a nice weather station gave him a panic attack many months after watching their content. He was feeling at an all time low that he had cried himself to sleep from the fear. Now he is experiencing that deathly sensation himself though not as intense given the fact that the mystery of magic and his current life's spirit power hollowing out the past experiences. As such, his old life's memory was not enough, the array channeled his fear of Mohg during his childhood when the giant man grabbed him by the neck in his youth and even was the cause of his original death.
The illusion is broken by Mohg himself who shatters the illusion of himself. His essence is still stored away in his mind palace and powered by his DeathCore.
(Slight R18 for the next trial if not plainfully obvious by its name)
The 6th Emotion to come up is LOVE. This emotion rips out his right arm bone into a split of dragon scales and feather-like gauntlets with a black and red design. The claws are similar to his original gloves style when he first awoke his martial spirits.
As for Xue Tie, well he finds himself naked with 4 other naked women in bed. This is a more mature version of Yu Yue, Xia Wei, Hong Zu the dragoness, and Hu Yue the nine tailed fox beauty. All 4 are cozying up to him and he is naturally erect from being pressed upon by their breasts and sexy figures.
"Master, won't you take me." "No, us as your lawfully wedded wives" Yu Yue gently speaks but Xia Wei cuts her off while delivering kisses to his neck.
"Come Husband, join us in pleasure" Hong Zu says as she begins to grind on his manhood.
"Where is Bibi Dong?" he questions
"Mou, teacher, you always favor her over us. We will never get to bear your babies at this rate if you keep pampering her."
"Indeed dear. Let all of us have a try" A mysterious voice pitches in which causes Xue Tie to frown before he realizes that there aren't just the 4 from this world here.
There is also a large collection of various waifus from his past life. They are all likewise naked with a few exceptions as they appear more sexy in their traditional clothes, amongst these are 2B and the Yorha commander from Nier: automata, Ahri, Akali and Evelyn (I do not care for Kai'sa) from the KDA music group, along with Mai Shiranui in her traditional kunoichi outfit. All of these beautiful women are naturally out of place but still approaching him on the bed planning to take what they desired themselves. Xue Tie closes his eyes and a new avatar shows up in the room.
It is a short dog with a white martial art belt that holds a baseball bat.
"I do not wish to be horny anymore, I just wish to be happy" the Doge says as it grows muscular and wields its bat to bonk everyone here including Xue Tie's erection before dissipating into black flames.
"AGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Xue Tie awakes with a shriek over the destruction of his manhood. A moment later he is once again swept away by the emotion array test.
The 6th emotion to arise is evil. It subsumes the drake external skull bone and transforms them into a pair of cloak and wings that match his chestplate. The wings in question are raven-like just like his original pair of wings which were fused into his robes' martial spirit. The cloak instead is much more simple and has a hood, it is a reflection of Xue Tie's own evil or darkness as it casts a shadow on his whole body, hiding his figure.
As for Xue Tie himself, he is brought before every scene of himself killing a spirit beast, which he was fine with but the illusion goes deeper as he reminisces on his behavior at his original adventure to Slaughter city when he killed many people whilst he was technically unconscious and was manipulated by the potion he had made. There are also the after effects which arose in his mentality when he needlessly tortured a few people to instill greater fear when he was already the icon of fear in these people's eyes. He needlessly tortured and broke their minds so that they would serve him. He then casually played around with his enemies during the wars. He could delude himself that he was trying to push himself to achieve some sort of breakthrough in the middle of battle but the hidden sadism remains. Xue Tie spends the most time in this emotion out of all the emotions thus far and it only stops as Xue Tie remembers his students who he had willingly nurtured and allowed to live their lives to the truest sense. Especially with Xia Wei who likely won't die this time around as he still has not found any illness inside her when he last checked. He got rid of the political game that she would have likely been indoctrinated in and forced to die by Ning Fengzhi's own hands.
The happiness his students radiated due to his actions allowed him to break through his own evils.
The final emotion now takes the shape of his Desires and it converts his skull bone from the nine headed bat king into a crown with a sizable ruby in the center that houses a fire inside. A remnant of his ties to blood and fire from his bloodline. Though once the crown is on his head, a shadow of a helmet appears that covers his face, offering the option of changing between them at will.
Xue Tie is thrust before a mountain of money, representing his greed and desire for loads of money that he would even make use of content and ideas that were not his own and pass them off as his own. He witnesses each of his own actions to modify his current world in terms of riches or once again viewing the evils of his conquest. The destruction of the Balak Kingdom and invading Star Luo for seemingly no reason. Just to gain the title of Emperor of the West. A vain title that only elevates his ego. This is especially so when he held the coronation ceremony and invited the two other emperors to humor him and his ego.
His only saving grace in his desires is that he has not expanded his love interests into a harem, nor is he the only one who benefits from his wealth gain. He used his newfound wealth to fuel the economy of his empire as before he started all this, there were villages everywhere. Commoners still had a chance to starve or live unfulfilled lives since their needs could not be met with the current wealth they possessed. Then Xue Tie came around and provided new jobs and wealth to the villages which allowed them to grow and prosper. It's not like he kicked out the original inhabitants of the village when it turned into a city, he helped them renovate their original homes to be equivalent to city styles. This made it so they would not have to leave their original homes nor abandon their heritage as a result of this renovation.
Xue Tie finally breaks through the final emotion and falls to his knees as his head feels like it is being overloaded by all the emotions he had just been through. He is breathing heavily inside his dual crown/helmet (the helmet is like a ghost helmet that can temporarily replace the crown for extra defense).
Bo Saixi is still standing off to the side as she has laid witness to the whole transformation that Xue Tie had undergone. All 7 pillars have awakened and joined the gathering. Some in crutches while Sea Dragon is in a wheelchair since his martial spirit was the focus of the martial spirit fusion and thus took the brunt of damage during their battle.Sea Dragon is the best off as only one of his legs is in a cast.
All but Sea Woman Douluo clap in applause as she has a broken arm which is in an arm wrap. Xue Tie slowly gets up, his cloaks hood sliding off to reveal his whole set of Death God Armaments, the symbol of the newest generation of the God of Death.
(Here for all images related to the Divine Armaments, the base template is the Nightingale Armor set from Skyrim but it's mixed or substituted by the other images. I also have an alternative suit that I found to be pretty cool though with a different color scheme)
The Sea God Trials Rune appears to signify the end of the 8th Trial.
