I open my eyes and sigh a little. Yesterday, I learned something. I learned that Sun Rune can communicate with me through emotion and image. I learned that Sun Rune is content to stay with me because of my unique soul that already goes through the void, the birthplace of the True Rune.
I also know that the Sun Rune has a request for me. It wants to reunite with its other half, the Dawn and Twilight Runes. If I do that, it will help me make sure that Freyjadour completes his destiny.
That will help me, but at the same time, no. I cannot take Dawn Rune from Freyjdouar because it will help the war. As for Twilight Rune… I can do that if it is still unattached. Unlike Sun Rune, Twilight Rune can be forcefully attached to someone. Sadly, it is already attached to Alenia.
I want to ask the company about this situation, but my phone is still with Chiyome.
I shake my head and get off the bed. Today is the day for the prince and his companion to go to Lelcar City to get their support. As for me? I need to visit other cities first and regroup with Chiyome while also getting some goods that I can sell to other cities.
Before I get to the bathroom, I can feel a connection between me and Chiyome flare up.
'Chiyome? What's up?'
'Lord Master, there is a complication with my second mission.'
'Are you okay? Are you hurt? Do I need to use my command seal to call you here?'
'It is not that kind of problem, Lord Master.'
'Then what is it?'
'One of the targets, Jeane, wants to talk with you. She manages to see me, but she is not hostile. She wants to talk, and if she agrees, she is willing to be stamped by you.'
'I see. Where is she?'
'We are still in Sol-Falena, Lord Master.'
'Right. Tell her to meet me in Yashuna Village.'

Jeane, one of the oldest living beings in the world, looks at the small woman in front of her in interest. Never in her life seen a being like her. This is the first time in her life that she gets excited.
Being as old as her, she never gets excited in her life because she already sees a lot of things. However, this is the first time she sees something new like Chiyome in front of her.
"My Lord Master shall meet you in Yashuna Village."
"Yashuna Village, hmmm? Sure. I can do that. However, before we go, can I ask a few questions?"
Jeane can see Chiyome stay silent for a few seconds. She knows that the black-haired woman in front of her is talking to her Lord Master. After a few seconds, Chiyome looks at Jeane and says,
"I can do that. What do you want to ask?"
"I want to ask what kind of creature you are. You look like a human, but the energy around you suggests otherwise."
"I am a Servant."
Jeane waits for a more elaborate answer, but seeing Chiyome not give her more answers, she can only sign and say.
"Servant, huh? It is not a regular servant, then. You did not say human. That means Servant is a race rather than an occupation."
Chiyome does not say anything and only looks Jeane right in the eyes.
"If not for my barrier, I would never notice you. Does that mean Servant Race is a creature that is great at concealing their presence?"
"Are you done?"
"No. I am sorry for the rambling. Anyway, my second question. Who is this Lord Master?"
"Lord Master is the most important thing in my life. He is my life. If he wants me dead, I shall kill myself."
Jeane looks at Chiyome in surprise and can only wonder what kind of person this 'Lord Master' Chiyome is talking about. To get the undying loyalty of a being like Chiyome is something that Jeane cannot comprehend.
"Right. My third question is, is it truly possible for me to see something new if I follow him?"
Chiyome looks at Jeane and nods her head. She might not be a Caster, but she can feel the power behind the company phone in her possession. When she takes it out, her power shudders at the power behind the veil that operates the phone.
It is to the point of the Great God of Ibuki inside of her shuddering in what feels like fear. She doesn't know what kind of power her Lord Master works with, but she knows that they are strong enough to let Jeane see something interesting.
"I know he can do that."
Jeane looks at Chiyome for a few seconds before nodding her head.
"Very well. I trust you. Let's meet this person."
Chiyome nodded her head and put on an illusion to change her form. Jeane looks at this magic with interest. She wants to ask her to tell her about this magic, but she decides to meet with Gerrald first before she asks Chiyome about her magic.
The two of them take the boat that lets them go to Yashuna Village. After a few hours of sailing, they arrive in the Yashuna Village.
"Where is your Lord Master?"
"He is already waiting for us in the local Inn. Come on."
Jeane and Chiyome get deeper into Yashuna Village. They arrive at an inn and restaurant building where they can see a group of people eating food on the corner of the table. It was Gerrald and his group of people.
"Ah, Chiyome."
Gerrald calls Chiyome by waving his hand. He gets up from his seat and looks at Jeane.
"You must be Jeane. Do you want to do business first or eat?"
"Business."
"Very well. I have already rented an empty room for us to talk. Come on."
Gerrald takes Chiyome and Jeane to the second floor, where they get inside one of the empty meeting rooms. Gerrald sits on the chair, and Jeane sits on the opposite side of him while Chiyome stands behind him.
"So, you want to ask me something before you want to be stamped, right?"
Jeane nods her head and says.
"Yes. I don't know what kind of power behind that stamp, but I know it will tie me to you. Before I do that, I want to know what kind of thing I will get if I tie myself to you."
Gerrald nods his head and says.
"That is fair enough. Ask away."
Jeane nods her head and says.
"The first question I want to ask is the benefit for me joining you."
"Easy enough. At the moment, you will have access to a pocket dimension and a house where you can do whatever you want to do. You can experiment or read all the books inside that house. Not only that, you will also be immune to most poisons and diseases. Mind control will also not work against you and me or at least be reduced by a lot. Any mental attack will also get affected by this."
Jeane raises one of her eyebrows and uses her power. Gerrald can feel a nudge inside his brain and gives her a smirk. Jeane frowns and increases the intensity of her power. Gerrald did not do anything and only smiled at her.
She stops using her power when she feels a cold steel on her neck. She can see Chiyome appear behind and put her knife on her neck. Gerrald raises his right hand and says.
"Don't worry, Chiyome. She only wants to test me and not mean to harm me."
Chiyome nods her head and appears behind Gerrald once again.
"How is it? Are you satisfied?"
Jeane nods her head and says.
"Yes."
"Great. Now, let's get into the third thing. You and I are protected against parasites that can take control over our bodies, spiritual possessions, and body swaps. What makes it great is I can also increase the benefits over time."
"I see. That is a great benefit. Can I ask one last question?"
"Of course."
"Can you show me something new? That Servant of yours told me that you can visit another world if given time, is it true?"
Gerrald nods his head and says.
"I do. I can visit another world given enough time."
"Then I am willing to join you as long as you can show me a new world to explore."
"That is easy enough. However, I still need to fulfill my duty in this world first before we go to another world."
"I know. I can see it. I can see you are among the 108 stars of destiny."
"Right, that. I need to make sure of the prince with this war."
"Then stamp me, and I shall join you. I have already performed my duty in the capital and can now move to join the prince."
Gerrald nods and looks at Chiyome. The kunoichi take out the stamp and give it to Gerrald, who stamps Jeane right in the hand.
"With this, you are part of our team. It will take three days before the stamp registers you as my team and for you to enjoy the benefit. However, let me welcome you to my team, Jeane."
