And soon, everything went smoothly, and Minato became the 4th Hokage.
.
Several months later.
.
After becoming Hokage, Minato had learned many jutsus. He practiced and trained every day, making him the strongest man alive in the current generation. He was preparing for the future, working on seals and creating many types of seals for various situations.
He had prepared many things in advance. He wasn't sure about his life, but he was certain that he would protect his wife and unborn child.
Kushina was sitting in a comfortable chair, tenderly cradling her belly.
Her lips curved into a beautiful smile as she tried to feel the baby inside her. "What should I name you, my baby?" she asked herself, falling into deep thought.
She thought for a while, but nothing came to her mind. "Ahhh... Why can't I think of a good name?"
"Don't stress yourself, Kushina," Minato said.
She looked at him and smiled, "Look, he is moving," she said when she felt the baby moving in her belly.
Standing up, Minato put his ear to her swollen belly and tried to hear something. His heart raced when he heard something inside.
He suddenly looked at Kushina, "It really moves," he exclaimed.
"Hehe, of course it moves," Kushina giggled at his reaction.
"So, what should we name him?" she asked.
"Are you sure it's a boy? What if it's a girl?" he asked, even though he knew it was a boy.
"Heh... I hadn't thought about it, but I feel like it's a boy. Maybe I'm wrong. So, if it's a girl, what should we name her?"
They started suggesting many names to each other for their baby.
"Let me draw something," Minato suddenly said and brought a canvas and paints.
He was a seal master, and he could also paint. He quickly prepared everything, as he had some ideas to test. Kushina looked at him and asked, "So what are you going to paint?"
"It's a secret," he put his finger to his lips mysteriously. Soon, he began to draw, and a figure started to appear on the paper. Kushina watched the painting take shape.
"So, what do you think about it?" Minato asked her. It was a painting of Naruto, and he wanted to see if this would trigger her memories.
"It looks beautiful," she said.
"This is what our son will look like," he said with a smile.
"Why are his eyes red, but his hair is just like mine? He's handsome," she examined the painting with a smile.
"Do you like it?" he asked curiously.
"I love it."
Kushina shook her head, feeling like she had seen him somewhere, but she quickly dismissed that thought because it didn't seem possible.
'So, she doesn't remember anything,' he thought to himself.
---
On August 10th,
"Huh...nothing happened," Minato was shocked when his boy wasn't born on his birthday. He had made all the calculations, but this wasn't supposed to happen.
'I have destroyed everything.'
Another day passed, and Naruto still hadn't been born. Every day, Minato grew more worried.
"Everything will be alright," Kushina said with a smile; her husband was more worried than she was.
"Yes, you are right. Everything will be alright," he said with a faint smile.
.
'I am sorry Naruto,' he said to himself, unsure whether he had killed his future son or not. His heart felt heavy with each passing moment.
.
And just like that, another two days passed, and it was August 13th. Today was still a normal day.
"Not even today," he exclaimed in his head.
"Why? Why does everything go so wrong? I just want to protect Kushina and Naruto, so why is this happening?" He punched the Hokage's table in frustration.
'Now what should I do?'
.
At night,
A thunderous roar reverberated in Konoha.
.
.
.
.
"RRROOOOORRRRRR"
