It was Professor Wentworth's idea not Aubrey's plus Grandma Bella was coming too so it was definitely not a date.

She somehow felt the need to reiterate that thought over and over lest she think of this outing as something more.

With her hair tied in a bun, Aubrey looked at the mirror and nodded her head in affirmative before finally deciding on a cute white short sleeved dress to wear. She was going to pair it with her white platform sandals.

A short while later, she was heading downstairs to meet up with her grandma, only to find the old lady lazing on the couch tv remote in hand. She did not look the least bit ready.

"Nana, Professor Wentworth's going to come any minute now. Shouldn't you be getting dressed?"
