As the lecherous guard began speaking to Ava whilst stealing glances at her figure, Marcus also wondered how the demoness before him felt about his actions.

Was she annoyed by the man's obvious lechery?

Was she angered by the fact he dared to gaze upon her so openly like this?

Or was she hiding a wicked glee at the fact she'd soon kill the guard and everyone surrounding her?

Marcus wasn't sure, but he was sure of one thing, and that was the fact that if the guard in front of him kept speaking, he'd eventually dig his own grave.

"-come now beautiful, don't be that way. I'm sure such a refined young woman as yourself would enjoy herself far more with a strong and caring man like myself. Hell I'll even ignore that distasteful attire and atrocious hair color you have after we both have a few drinks.
