"Why?" she had asked, her voice trembling with hurt and disbelief. "Why did you push me toward them? I thought we were best friends!"
Li Yuan had looked down, guilt written all over her face.
"I'm sorry… I was under too much pressure. I didn't mean it. My mind wasn't clear."
Wang Bao had wanted to scream at her, to tell her how betrayed she felt.
