Reqiel knew the flower fields, so he took the lead. The skylight dimmed as they walked away from the manor and the rest of the village. He quickly got done with his apple so he could be free to speak, walking with his back to their grassy path.

Andras' sharp eyes caught Reqiel wiping his sticky hands on his robe and let it go. He wasn't a Prince here, and by the time they got to the Nether Regions, it would be too dark for anyone to criticize his stained robes.

"How long will we have to fly for?" Reqiel asked, equal parts eager and nervous.

Rolfe inspected his half-eaten apple, "A few hours, Andras can get there in less."

His casually mentioned fact brought Reqiel's curious dark blue eyes to Andras. "You can fly much faster?"

Rolfe wisely put some distance between himself and Andras, expecting the other to try and jab him in the side.
