That was exactly the reaction they were all expecting but what they didn't know was whether he would rise to the challenge or decide to ignore their little game with the excuse of working tonight. 

Besides, he had been so busy lately and they didn't know whether it was because of that vixen or work related.

"You heard me right, Steffan, but if you're so worried about my feelings as the good brother that you are, I might as well ask Lauren to get one of her male friends… I seem to remember one particularly handsome one that I met the other day when we dined out."  

"What was his name again?" Candace's brows bumped together in a thoughtful frown.

"Yeah, I remember now… George Wellington.  And I also recall he was the same man introduced earlier as the new president of Café Royale."

"Such a charming young man with such an intimidating background… I'm sure our Lauren will be well taken care of by him," her husband added casually.
