38 Freeing Ace
"Garp!"
"Even you can't escape the love of your children, huh?"
Sengoku looked dignified at Garp, who was blasted out, then looked at Luffy and Bullet who rushed forward, and shouted in a deep voice, "But as long as I'm here, None of you can save Ace!"
As the words echoed, a radiant golden light emerged.
In a blink of an eye, a golden Buddha appeared in front of everyone.
"It's Fleet Admiral Sengoku ability!"
"Excellent! With the Fleet Admiral present, Straw Hat Luffy can surely be stopped!"
"We must emerge victorious in this war!"
The marines below cheered.
"Old man Sengoku, your opponent is me!"
A deep laughter sounded.
Just as Sengoku was about to launch an attack against Luffy, Bullet leaped into action and positioned himself in front of him as a shield.
With his arms infused with Armament Haki, Bullet unleashed a powerful strike against the golden Buddha.
"Bullet!!!"
An anger flashed in Sengoku eyes.
Without hesitation, he raised his massive arms and charged forward.
BOOM!
The two fists collide.
Purple lightning crackled at the center of their fist collision, unleashing a powerful force that swept like a hurricane in all directions.
The execution platform crumbled under the overwhelming force.
With a loud click, it continued to collapse, and Ace was about to fall.
"Ace!!!"
Luffy seized this opportunity and came to Ace before the execution platform had completely crashed.
He also held the key given by Empress Hancock in his hand.
"Not good!"
Sengoku face changed drastically.
The huge figure rushed toward Ace frantically, his fist raised high, and it smashed down with tremendous force.
"I told you, I'm your opponent!"
Bullet once again stood in front, blocking Sengoku's path and preventing him from attacking Luffy.
"Damn it!"
Sengoku cursed silently under his breath.
Even though Sengoku was powerful, Bullet was no pushover.
If Bullet isn't dealt with, Luffy will continue unhindered.
With a newfound understanding, Sengoku ceased his resistance, turned his attention towards Bullet, and launched a powerful strike, generating a resounding impact.
"Bring it on!"
Bullet expression brimmed with excitement.
He had come this time to face a formidable opponent.
Now that he was face to face with an expert of Admirals caliber, how could he shrink back.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
A fierce battle started.
With a loud crash, a wave of intense energy erupted, destroying the execution platform.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Luffy swiftly unlocked the chains using the key.
As Ace's chains were finally open, the execution platform collapsed, and the bodies of the two of them fell downward with smoke covering them.
But soon…
A clear voice emerged from the lingering smoke and dust.
"Luffy, you were always like this, causing trouble everywhere!"
BOOM!
A loud sound appeared.
The fiery flames surged, piercing through the dust-filled sky.
Amidst everyone's gaze, Ace, engulfed in flames, grabbed hold of Luffy and burst out of the smoke!
After hours of fighting.
Ace... successfully rescued!
Marineford fell into silence at first, and then erupted with enthusiastic cheers!
"Good job!"
"Ace made it out, we did it!"
"Hahaha, Naval Headquarters couldn't even stop us, not even with 100,000 marines!"
The crew of the Whitebeard Pirates cheered.
"Strawhat yoi, good job!"
Marco's face lit up with a smile, and he called out to everyone with determination in his voice:
"Everyone, get ready to cover the retreat of father and Ace!"
He knows that this is not a time for celebration.
Our true victory lies in saving Ace and safely escaping Marineford.
"Cover Father!"
Jozu shout, adrenaline pumping his blood gave a feeling of infinite power gushing out of his body, and with his fists swinging, he sent Marines flying.
"Yeahhh!"
The Whitebeard Pirates swiftly rallied together.
With their swords in their hand, they charged forward, overwhelming the Marines in their path.
"It's a disgrace that Firefist Ace managed to escape even with 100,000 Marine soldiers and Shichibukai present!"
Sengoku's face turned grim, he glanced down at the nearby Admirals and he sternly commanded: "Enough fooling around! Stop Ace and Straw Hat Luffy!"
He was furious!
Garp is not in right mind and was smashed away by Luffy.
Aokiji and Kizaru, the Admirals, were barely putting in any effort and seemed to be taking it easy.
If Whitebeard and Ace are allowed to escape
Then Marine will lose face!
How will they maintain control over the chaotic New World then?
"Yeah~"
"Seems like things didn't go as planned~"
Kizaru tone grew tense, and his expression turned serious.
He didn't take it seriously earlier. Despite showcasing a few skills, it's power was average, and he held back his full strength.
But the current situation is turning out to be unexpected.
Realizing that if he doesn't unleash his full strength, something big may happen.
"Think gonna get ugly if this continue!"
Aokiji unease also grew stronger.
"These two bastards!"
Akainu grew increasingly frustrated upon observing the expressions of his fellow Admirals.
No wonder things went awry earlier. Even with all three Admirals joining forces, they couldn't defeat Whitebeard.
Turns out, it was just him giving his all.
Aokiji and Kizaru were merely playing their roles!
But soon, he suppressed his anger.
Realizing that this is not the time to be angry, they must stop Ace, or else the war will be lost!
At that moment, he dashed forward.
"You two, won't get past me!"
Akainu shout angrily.
The fiery arm swung down like molten lava, aiming to strike Luffy and Ace with tremendous force.
Dark Hound!
This powerful strike is nearly unstoppable.
Ace and Luffy were caught off guard. Although they narrowly evaded the lethal blow, they were still swept away by the powerful shockwave, sending them flying.
"Magma boy, your opponent is me!"
Whitebeard spoke in low tone.
The fist swung sideways and crashed heavily through the air.
BOOM!
The powerful shockwave spread, sweeping towards Akainu, forcing him to abandon his attack and shift to a defensive stance.
Furious at being blocked, Akainu yelled at Aokiji and Kizaru in anger.
"When will you two act!"
He was very unhappy with the two.
Even right now they didn't even take initiative to attack, they're still just waiting and watching at this moment.
They continue to wait and watch, as Whitebeard prepares to make his leave.
Aokiji and Kizaru glanced at each other, but did not reply.
They moved closer to Whitebeard, step by step, their Haki sweeping like a storm.
This kind of Haki is incredibly terrifying.
Even the clouds in the sky were affected and condensed together, as if a storm was about to come.
Facing the escalating situation and loss of control.
Aokiji and Kizaru are finally going to... give it their all!
