Some more time had passed since Popov was contacted by 'Being X' and during that time, the Capital of the Vodka Kingdom returned to its previous peaceful state.
That was how it seemed on the surface but there were still a lot of things that were unsettling beneath the surface.
Crimes would not be stopped overnight and the corruption would not be cleansed right away.
There were too many things too deeply rooted in the Vodka Kingdom that could not be dealt with.
Some were so deeply rooted that it involved the interests of some noble families and even the royals so they could not be touched without proper justification.
All that could be done about everything was to keep going after the small parts one at a time and to hope that some good was being done.
It did not matter whether it was spotting faults in the funds being used for the military or other places, if there was something wrong then Tanya and the other Volkov family members would be dispatched to look into such matters.
If there were any double ledgers and other false reporting of funds of some kind then the people involved in such embezzlement would be caught.
Tanya became nine years old and she was able to fill out a little more after her daily meals had improved and from the training she constantly underwent.
She may have improved a lot but there were lasting effects from her life living in poverty and from malnutrition.
It took her a little longer than others to improve her physical health and body so she was a little behind others in terms of physical strength but she made up for it with her light and agile body.
Tanya was a little smaller than other girls her age but she was making some improvements the better her life became.
Perhaps one day she would grow up to be a very beautiful woman if she was able to live long enough.
With each small achievement that she gained, her name started to appear more often gaining her more recognition and the nickname 'Little Vanguard' due to her always being at the forefront of most events.
