Taowu's foot smashed through Xinzhui's chest. But the moment next, the Dowager turned into an afterimage, reforming several steps away from her opponent. 

"Oh?" Confused, Taowu tilted her head to the left, noticing that a golden vertical eye now flashed in the middle of Xinzhui's forehead: Huan Yi's Eye of Revelation. 

Worse, her lilac eyes also shifted colors, becoming red and purple: the Eye of Slaughter and the Eye of Dancing Devils. All three of Huan Yi's eyes had appeared on Xinzhui's face, fueling the dowager with her son's overwhelming ocular powers. 

"How?" Completely Bamboozled, Taowu asked. 

"On top of standard abilities, Yi'er's Eye of Revelation can drain Spiritual Energy to temporarily give its bearer the speed and reflexes to dodge all incoming attacks. I just used it to temporarily move faster than your eyes could follow." Xinzhui explained with the tone of a patient teacher.
