Chapitre 36: 36. Old man

"Welcome home!" Diana Rodriguez, Damien's mother shouted as soon as she opened the door. 

There were Arabella, Damien, Ariana and Aaron. The excitement on Ariana and Aaron's face and the smile on Damien and Arabella's face seeing their children happy and excited for the new experience, made them look like the perfect happy family which they are not. 

Aaron and Ariana immediately hid their faces in the crook of Arabella's neck seeing Diana. They are not used to meeting new people. Arabella said Damien chuckled at them. Arabella was holding both her children herself as they clung to her.

Diana looked at her daughter-in-law lovingly who she hadn't seen in years. She was already aware of Arabella's medical condition and tried to hide the hurt from her face so that Arabella might not remember her. Diana has always been a sweet lady. She loved Arabella as her own daughter.
