Chapitre 92: High Court Third Round Part 2

Ives stood in front of the witness pulpit and as George stood up to do the questioning, the witness shook suddenly causing some of the Citadel Guards to be alerted. 

However, it didn't look like he was trying to get away or trying to hurt anybody, "My eyes are blurry…" 

As George heard this he turned to one of the guards, "You guys didn't do anything to him like I ordered right? Right?" 

They nodded.

Most witnesses who were in jail were excused from getting any punishment to avoid this situation, but clearly, something had happened to him for him to be acting this way. 

"Ives? Ives? Do you need anything? Something to munch?" George asked, thinking that it might have been a headache from an empty stomach.

"Huh?" Ives turned to George, "I- I…" His eyes rolled up before his body dropped down as if his soul had been sucked out of him.
