Abel kept his word and got the best doctor for Hisoka. Additionally, since he didn't deal a fatal blow and most of the injuries were superficial, the doctor confidently assured that Hisoka could be healed within three days. Of course, this was also due to the substantial reward of ten million Berries. With Hisoka's personality, he would certainly not give up easily. So Abel had to give him this chance.

Soon after, the biennial fighting tournament, also known as the "Fighters' Festival," arrived. Countless spectators poured into the Sky Arena's highest layer, the 251st floor, which resembled the ancient Roman Colosseum. Today, the final victor would be decided here. That's right, it would all end in one day!

One opponent's expression quickly turned to disbelief. His dagger couldn't even pierce Abel's skin, producing the sound of metal clashing instead. With the announcer's voice booming through speakers across the stadium, it was finally time to reveal the truth.

Six participants had directly forfeited the tournament.

"No..."

Boom! Abel's location was bombarded, evoking memories of past glorious moments and inflating the already frenzied atmosphere. Weak contestants teamed up, while the strong ones were ganged up on.

"Could this guy be a robot?" After missing a strike, the attacker immediately tried to escape.

"An ability to transform into ice? It could be from the Transformation or Conjuration categories."

As Abel was the last to become a floor master, he was also the last to enter the arena. This uncertainty was what made the biennial fighting tournament so famous, revered by countless spectators. Just like Netero back in the day, who fought all the floor masters united against him and still achieved a miraculous victory.

The first unlucky casualty had appeared.

"Alright!"

Not every year would someone occupy the 251st floor.

Got him!

Clang!

What?!

They were enemies, so there was nothing more to say—kill them all!

The announcer's excited voice echoed, "The first to attack is the floor master of the 246th floor, 'Demon King' Abel! The floor master of the 230th floor, 'Engineer' Vernon, couldn't react and was instantly killed! Let's cheer for the 'Demon King' Abel!"

"Is there anyone from the Emission category who can attack him from afar first?"

One by one, the floor masters walked out from their respective passageways, entering the arena. The last person secretly summoned a 'Nen Beast,' a black panther that could hide in the shadows!

"Everyone, let's team up."

As the announcer revealed each name, he loudly announced their prominent achievements, with a large screen simultaneously displaying their highlight moments.

In a chaotic battle of this scale, anything could happen. Another crucial factor was that those who grouped up early usually had less confidence in their own strength.

However, this calm didn't last long and was immediately broken.

Poof! Several ice spikes shot up from the ground, skewering a floor master and leaving his body hanging lifelessly. Everyone who came here aimed to be the ultimate victor.

"It looks like the 'Demon King' Abel's early attack has made everyone wary. Look, someone is already surrounding and preparing to take him on!"

An Enhancement-type Nen user with lightning speed appeared behind Abel, holding a poisoned dagger aimed at his kidney.

"Die!"

"Abel! Abel! Abel!"

For Abel, who took the initiative, being mobbed wasn't a concern. He saw everyone before him as enemies.

"Now, I declare the fighting tournament officially started!"

Poof! Blood splattered.

In such chaotic battles, those who stood out first were often targeted.

Ridiculous!

Abel surmised that both categories might be involved, as he didn't see the floor masters of the 248th, 249th, and 250th floors. The tournament was no longer a one-on-one duel but a grand melee involving all the floor masters.

Looking down, he realized his feet had been frozen. The crowd went wild for him! Meanwhile, the others in the arena were losing their minds.

Feel it's unfair?

"Demon King! Demon King! Demon King!"

All eyes turned toward the commotion. Inside the arena, several seemingly familiar individuals exchanged glances and began surrounding Abel.

Out of the 15 participants, a third had already been eliminated.

If ganged up on from the start, it would be nearly impossible to survive till the end.

Two contestants started gathering their energy. One released numerous Nen bullets the size of pigeon eggs, while the other launched multiple 'Aura Blades.'

Abel held two ice blades, looking indifferent, with a floor master's dead body at his feet.

He just couldn't help it—he was too handsome, too strong.

This tournament aimed to determine the strongest fighter, with no excuses for failure.

Of the two, one specialized in Nen bullets, and the other in 'Nen Beasts.'

Upon asking, three Emission-category users stepped forward.

The one who could stand until the end and remain undefeated would be the ultimate victor, gaining everything!

All the losers wouldn't even have their names remembered.

He was confident no one could catch up with his speed.

In other words, they were all trash!

Abel took a deep breath, then opened his mouth. He was welcomed almost as enthusiastically as the popular floor masters before him.

Soon, amid the fervent shouts of over hundreds of thousands of spectators.

Some didn't participate, either lacking confidence or finding it boring.

Who could stop this guy next?

"Damn, when did the Sky Arena get such a monster?"

Dragon Breath of Ice!

Three participants were instantly turned into ice sculptures by a freezing breath.

After all, the tournament didn't mandate all floor masters to compete.

In the next moment, however, the attacker found himself unable to move.

Not even having the courage to fight everyone, you might as well quit!

Entering the arena, Abel scanned around—21 floor masters, only 15 actually showed up.

In just moments, Abel had already killed five people.

Everyone in the arena was cautious, avoiding rash actions.

"Need me to send you off?"

The 'Nen Beast' black panther jumped into the smoke.

"Is it over?"

As the smoke cleared, a figure reappeared, making everyone's pupils contract sharply!

Abel stood clad in ice dragon armor, showing no signs of injury, gripping the black panther's neck, which couldn't escape despite struggling desperately.

An unseen pressure made it hard for them to breathe. Crack!

Someone's 'nen beast' was directly crushed by Abel's grip! He then placed his left hand on the ground.

"Ice Hell!"

Facing the crowd's assault, Abel no longer held back. He was determined to eliminate everyone. In an instant, piercing cold frost covered the entire arena, erupting into countless ice spikes! Everyone had to use all their techniques to counteract it. Various strange nen abilities were on full display.

The surrounding spectators were dumbfounded, as if witnessing a miracle. Ordinary people had no idea what nen abilities were and thought it was some kind of magic from novels.

"Breath of Darkness: Sixth Form - Cemetery of Death!"

While everyone was struggling to deal with the endless ice spikes, Abel stabbed an ice blade charged with dark energy into the ground. The next moment, innumerable dark sword auras burst from the ground alongside the ice spikes!

The ice spikes had a physical form and could be countered. The sword auras, being a type of 'energy attack,' were much harder to defend against. Moreover, they came too suddenly for anyone to be mentally prepared.

The three emitters of nen were the first to succumb, being torn apart by the chaotic swords! The rest managed to hold on, but only barely. After all, to become a floor master, one had to have some skills. Among them could be those who had bullied rookies to accumulate victories and climbed ranks by deceit, like the "Ugly Sickness Trio." But there were also genuine martial artists!

Especially those closest to the top levels, whose abilities were exceptional. They had lost interest in this kind of tournament, which was why they didn't participate. Otherwise, Abel really wanted to see what they were capable of.

Crack! Abel suddenly snapped his fingers while in mid-air.

To the shock of the onlookers, a gigantic ice sphere, almost as large as the battleground, slowly descended like a meteor. 'Slowly' was a visual illusion due to its massive size; it was actually falling quite fast!

"If you don't go all out, we're all going to die!"

"Dammit, let's go for it!"

A peculiar person neither male nor female stepped forward, manifested a mirror, and threw it above their head, where it mysteriously stayed afloat.

"Grab my hand quickly and help me absorb the shock!"

"My nen ability is 'Mirror of Rebound,' which can reflect any form of attack back in its entirety. However, for it to succeed, I must withstand a tenth of its power."

"As long as we connect our 'aura,' we become as one. Each person bears a fraction, and we can rebound it back!"

As they shouted, the others had no choice but to trust and grab onto them, linking their 'aura' together. The next moment, the ice sphere fell.

Spectators nearest to the scene screamed and started running up the stands. The aftershock alone would be enough to wipe them out!

Boom! The ice sphere landed on the seemingly insignificant floating mirror first, which then gleamed brightly and emitted a hair-raising creaking sound. It seemed like it couldn't bear the impact and might burst at any moment.

But with everyone helping to share the burden, the 'Mirror of Rebound' miraculously held on.

"Send it back!"

With a roar, the enormous ice sphere was indeed lifted and hurled back into the sky bit by bit! Although it consumed a vast amount of 'aura,' they managed to accomplish it. Many were petrified and uncertain.

While still in mid-air, Abel launched another attack.

"Shura Aurora Slash!"

A dazzling flying slash sliced past the ice sphere and descended like a streaking light to the ground. It was too fast!

They had just managed to deflect the ice sphere, and even a tenth of its force made everyone feel turbulent. Before they could catch their breath, danger struck again. With no other option, the peculiar person gritted their teeth and hoped their 'Mirror of Rebound' could hold.

But this time, they grossly overestimated their ability's capacity. The 'X'-shaped flying slash had barely hit their 'Mirror of Rebound' when it made a terrifying grinding sound crack!

To their disbelief, multiple cracks appeared and quickly spread.

Snap! The entire 'Mirror of Rebound' shattered instantly!

The group was engulfed by the sword light. Boom! The ground was sliced into a deep, 'X'-shaped fissure over twenty meters deep. The spectators were terrified.

Ice meteors from the sky, sword lights cutting the ground - was this the pinnacle of martial arts?

They were in awe! The fight was over; couldn't they leave now? Any more and they were afraid the entire Sky Arena might collapse. Don't forget, they were nearly a thousand meters high!

How could anyone not be scared?

After landing, Abel looked at his work with satisfaction. The power was just right. Not too much or too little. Any more, he could have destroyed the place in moments.

After dissolving his ice dragon armor, Abel felt considerably lighter. He had just unleashed a series of large-scale AOE attacks, which drained him significantly. The variety of nen abilities was endless; it was best to strike first.

However powerful an opponent's moves were, if they didn't get the chance to use them, they were useless.

But at that moment, a body buried under the rubble suddenly opened its eyes.

Slam! Abel was grabbed tightly from behind.

Since he felt no hostility or killing intent, he looked genuinely surprised.

"The game isn't over yet~"

The person locking Abel from behind was Hisoka?! He had somehow replaced one of the floor masters and participated in this tournament. Using his nen ability [Bungee Gum] and [Texture Surprise], he disguised himself as a corpse under the stones.

He knew Abel's perception was extremely sensitive, so he used his trump card 'Feign Death,' a move he'd never revealed to anyone before. Initially intended as a surprise for Chrollo, he had to use it now.

While 'feigning death,' he and the actual corpse were indistinguishable - no heartbeat, no aura.

He had finally managed to deceive Abel's Observation Haki.
