Chapitre 62: Chapter 62 - Killer Fang
Yuuki and Yakumo returned, having flown together while chatting and getting to know more about each other, sharing more personal information. Kyouka saw them arrive and immediately understood what had happened.
"I'd say his form with me is suited for Hit-and-run, surprise attacks, and assaults."(Yakumo)
"I'll keep in mind how its flight is faster than anyone else's."(Kyouka)
"Let's try it out more often, alright?"(Yakumo)
She winked at him and nudged while Yuuki simply smiled and said.
"Sure."(Kyouka)
Kyouka gives up and ponders why her emotions seem to be running wild even though she resolves and accepts the harem of Yuuki. She never faced a problem with it but couldn't share the feeling something was wrong with her unaware it has to do with her ability.
"I wanted to train more, but you'll be going soon right?"(Yakumo)
"Yeah."(Kyouka)
She looked at Yuuki and saw him take out a Lollipop then heard Kyouka said.
"We'll be going to train with the tenth unit."(Kyouka)
"Oh?"(Yuuki)
He shifted his lollipop, getting excited and eager to see how well she'll fight against his clones once it turns into a slave and how amazing it would be to fight himself again at a huge disadvantage.
"Seems like we'll be joint training while the thunder Gods aren't showing themselves."(Himari)
"That's great to hear, I want to see how good other units are."(Yuuki)
He smirked, hoping that things will get even better in the future and soon Yuuki went to the 10th unit with the rest of the 7th unit. Meanwhile, as they were busy preparing for the Eight Thunder gods, the said group was currently in their base where Jouryuu was holding a mirror that showed Shikoku getting her hair done in different styles.
"You're so beautiful, Shikoku-nee, that anything suits you. Cute. Braids look good. Buns are also great. Glasses suit you."
Soon Rairen arrived slightly confused at the sight before them and asked them.
"What are you doing?"(Rairen)
Behind Shikoku was a young woman with a number of small horns around her head resembling a crown. She wears a white kimono that has long sleeves and gloves wrapped around her two middle fingers. She also has a series of dots below each eye.
She was one of the Eight gods of thunder, Kuusetsu who was previously the giant egg that swallowed Koko and Naon. She was fixing her hair and said.
"Shikoku-nee wasn't in a good mood, so I was helping her relax."(Kuusetsu)
*Are you angry that you let one of those obsoletes hit you?"(Rairen)
J"I've already told her that it was because she suppressed her power to be able to enter the barrier."(Jouryuu)
"Even then~ it was still quite the shock."(Shikoku)
She said removing the glasses then her tone and expression were noticeably different.
"And I've learned two things from it. Humans can bring out strength beyond our expectations depending on how their emotions fluctuate."(Shikoku)
Rairen was visibly confused and Jouryuu remained stoic but acknowledged her words. Shikoku looked at them intently and said.
"You better keep that in mind. So you don't lose when you least expect to."
"I won't lose to anyone!"(Kuusetsu)
Shikoku turned to her and saw Kuusetsu give a majestic pose and said proudly
"Neither in strength nor in beauty!"(Kuusetsu)
They all fell silent at her declaration and Jouryuu was the first one to speak her mind.
"Are the traits of the food she absorbed showing up as part of her personality...?"(Jouryuu)
"You're still a little chick, Kuusetsu, so stop talking a big game!"(Rairen)
He screamed out and scolded Kuusetsu who was visibly angry then vanished from her spot and appeared behind Rairen.
"Nuh!?"(Rairen)
Before he could react fast enough was struck with powerful force sending him flying into the wall and shaking the entire base they were in.
"Who did you call a little chick?"(Kuusetsu)
Kuusetsu's hair becomes longer and more unkempt. Her eyes turn black and her crown of horns recedes, being replaced by two large horns on her. She exudes a more potent and strong power that rivals Jouryuu.
Rairen then recovered and stepped out of the wall he was in and impressed that he was hurt and said.
"Hou. So you can change form."(Rairen)
"Exciting, right? She's got this strength already"(Shikoku)
"You said you learned two things…"(Jouryuu)
"Yeah. I am a god, but I'm not lenient."(Shikoku)
She was angrily having scowled unlike her usual carefree tone and Jouryuu simply stared at her and thought.
' ....I know.'(Jouryuu)
* Keep improving yourself until the day of the deciding battle, Kuusetsu. The eight gods of thunder are now missing one member."(Shikoku)
"I'll keep on experimenting beautifully…"(Kuusetsu)
She reverted back to her normal form and said.
"For I am one who can grow infinitely stronger! I will handle the Anti-Demon corps all by myself!"
They simply stared at her, slightly annoyed by the way she spoke. Meanwhile back to the 7th unit, they soon arrived in the 10th unit where Ginna was waiting for them and guided them around the Mato Headquarters.
"Kyou-sama, Yuuki-san, this way"(Ginna)
She was taking them in a different route than the rest of them and started walking, leaving Shushu, Himari, and Nei behind.
"Are we the only ones going a different way?"(Kyouka)
"It's extremely great Ren-sama orders!"(Ginna)
"Don't you fear the commander at all, Ginna-Chan?"(Yuuki)
"Her frightening aura is also part of her charm! It is a great honor that I serve as Ren-sama's direct subordinate!"(Ginna)
She excitedly said clenching her fist showing her undying loyalty to Ren while Yuuki simply nodded and thought.
'Hmm, she may be arrogant but can't deny her talent and skills.'
They continued their way where Yuuki still had a carefree attitude putting his hand behind his head while Kyouka remained anxious, having inner turmoil after having lent Yuuki but it was less than before as Yuuki mentioned about it. They soon arrive at a door and Ginna stopped walking to tell them.
"Please go straight ahead to the garden."(Ginna)
They entered and were greeted by a beautiful Japanese garden.
"A Japanese Garden inside of mato…"
Yuuki pondered how long it took them to make the place and began walking with Kyouka.
"It was made after the current commander got her position."(Kyouka)
"So Yamashiro-san has that much power…"(Yuuki)
"Her connection to the higher ups go deep after all. Even the prime minister calls her to work as her bodyguard every now and then."(Kyouka)
*So that's the work she does on our world…it reminds me of the garden I made in Mount Fuji."(Yuuki)
"Wait, you have a garden on Mount Fuji?"(Kyouka)
She was surprised and wanted to know more since it's one of her dreams to visit sacred mountains of the world.
"Yeah, Yamashiro-san isn't the only one that has backing and influence."(Yuuki)

Yuuki was always carefree and straightforward that it always slips her mind that he has more power than most countries due to his invention and energy production along with other research.
"Maybe, we can go there and have our dates."(Yuuki)
"...I would love that."(Kyouka)
She smiled while Yuuki did the same then they soon arrive to see Ren playing with two Shiba Inu.
'Right…I wonder what Byakko is doing.'(Yuuki)
He had left Byakko at their base to be a guard where he was on top of mountains of Shuuki Corpses. Kyouka went and called out to Ren.
"Commander!"(Kyouka)
Her shout caught their attention causing the dogs to run up to them where they encircled Yuuki who kneel down and patted their heads.
"Hmmm, good."(Yuuki)
"A peaceful environment, with the dogs running around... It's lovely isn't it?"(Ren)
The dog looked at him and it was rather adorable but none can surpass Nei.
"Seems Like Kaname and Miyabi took a liking to you. These two ladies will look after you, okay? As their Junior."(Ren)
'Junior? I think they see me as their father though….'
Yuuki thought to himself, getting a strong emotion from them that tells him that they view him as a leader and alpha.
"Why did you call only the two of us here?"(Kyouka)
Before she responded, went to look at her dogs and gave her command.
"Back to your rooms, okay?"(Ren)
The Dogs then started running to their rooms as Rens began to stand up.
"it's for the Slave lending. We'll do it before you get tired."
"...That-"(Kyouka)
"An unknown trait might appear, so we have to try it out at least once, right?"(Ren)
"...If that is an order, Then there's nothing left for me to say."(Kyouka)
Kyouka stretched out her hand to Yuuki as he made a clone for him to use, slightly disappointed but didn't voice her thoughts and merely giggled.
"Heheheh…."(Ren)
The clone transforms into his [ Chains of Eternity] form while Yuuki crosses his arms eager to see how he'll rampaging self fair against the so-called apex of humanity. She stood on his back and commented.
*Heeh. Being on top of you feels nice."(Ren)
She then kneels down and reaches out her hand to grab the chains causing an instant and violent reaction as pressure explodes and Kyouka was visibly surprised while Yuuki tried to hide his toothy grin.
He assumes a more demonic transformation that makes him take form as a pitch-black looking hound different from his usual forms, with what appears to be diamond-shaped things protruding from his shoulders with a diamond in the middle of his chest, sharp fangs, and narrower eyes, which exudes a dangerous presence.
[ Slave: Killer Fang ]
'Marvelous…'
Yuuki thought to himself, feeling the sense of battle against his clones. He was definitely stronger than the former Yuuki in the canon.
"GNGH...."(Clone)
He growled at them where Kyouka had a horrified reaction and looked at Yuuki.
"Yuuki….is this alright."(Kyouka)
"OOOOOOOOOH!"(Clone)
"Most likely not."(Yuuki)
He bluntly said while Kyouka clicked her tongue and immediately tried to stop it before things got out of hand.
"Commander! That form is dangerous."(Kyouka)
"Do not release it!"(Ren)
It was then the clone looked around sensing something and Ren noticed it as well.
"Looks like there are Shuuki around."(Ren)
It was then the two leaped into the air with speed that Kyouka couldn't react quick enough.
'I've never seen a form like that…'
She was worried that things might end up horrible only for her to feel someone hold her shoulder and saw Yuuki then said.
"I'll handle it, don't worry. Just hold this for me will yah."
Yuuki took out his lollipop and placed it into her mouth as she blushed then saw him fly to follow Ren and his clone leaving Kyouka. Back to Ren and his clone, they arrives to where Shuuki was and Ren was eager to test the clone.
"Alright, Show me your power."
Moving like a savage beast tore every single Shuuki in a brutal manner while Ren enjoyed the sight of it.
"Well done! You're killing them instantly!"(Ren)
However, more Shuuki popped up from the ground but Ren didn't feel the slight worry and said.
"Oh my. Quite a haul we have here."(Ren)
They quickly leap into the air where the clone eyes seem to shimmer and where he causes countless symbols featuring fangs appearing above his intended Shuuki's heads. Every single Shuuki had the symbol then the clone opened its jaw then snapped it causing the entire heads of the Shuuki to explode.
[ Sacrificial goat. ]
"What a nice sight."
She said only for it to be short lived when the cloned turned her attention to Ren.
"GOAAAH!"
Ren noticed it and force to let go of his chains and the clone quickly slashed at her and cause her to stepped back
"Hey. Trying to bite me now, aren't you?"
The clone seems to lick its teeth preparing to devour its so-called master.
"What a bad dog."
Ren activated her ability where her mandala encircled her and released her power then said.
"I'll have to teach you some manners."
