Chapitre 2: DAD WOKE UP!
Ianthe: it's been a month since everything has started and dad still hasn't woken up but hopefully today he will be according to the show he should.
I have been scavenging the hospital for food, water, medicine as I have also been making trips to the house to get clothes for me and dad.
I also met Morgan and his family a week ago when I made a trip to the house.
Well what was left of our house and I had caught them scavenging in it.
But his wife was very beautiful and nice after I told them that I'll meet with them when my dad had woken up at where they had decided to settle at.
(present time)
I put the clothes and food that I got from the house on the bed as I take my gun out and shoot the walker that must've of gotten free from somewhere putting the gun back in my pants.
I open the room door crawling over the bed saying hey dad I'm sorry for all the noise again but another walker somehow got free from somewhere.
I know I should be more quiet when I take out a walker but I don't have a knife that's long enough to keep a safe distance from them.
As I stab them I don't want to use a small one where it could risk me getting bit plus most of the walkers are locked up down the hall that connects to the next wing of the hospital.
So it's pretty secure on this side of the hospital wing besides a few stragglers that get free somehow and make it over here every once and then.
So me shooting the gun shouldn't bring us too much trouble as I'm grabbing the bags and closing the door I hear Ianthe...in a horsed voice.
But not realizing it I say I know you must be hungry as I put the bags down and say hold on let me....as i stop and turn around with a shocked look on my face when I see dad is awake.
Looking at him tears start to form in my eyes as I shout DAD! running to hug him as he's laying down putting my head on his chest as I cry.
I snuggle into him as I'm crying and he gently pats my head saying I'm sorry babygirl that I caused you so much grief.
Getting up I wipe my tears shaking my head mhmm I'm just glad that you're awake now.
A lot has happened in the past month of you being unconscious but we should take it easy since you have just awoke.
Rick: I know even as I was sometimes I would regain my consciousness for a little so I would hear some of the things you would tell me.
When you were talking to me as you thought I was unconscious but I was only able to hear part of the things you said as I wasn't able to stay conscious for long before I would be unconscious again.
Ianthe: I see well let me recap you on some of the things that have happened as you were unconscious in the hospital.
After I told dad about what had been happening in the world as he was unconscious we grabbed the bags with our supplies and clothes and left the room so I could show him.
Ianthe: I didn't know what clothes to bring you so I just grabbed whatever during the trips home when I went to grab clothes and other supplies outside of the hospital.
Rick: it's fine I would rather wear my officer uniform just in case we run into anyone.
Oh yea I forgot to tell you that on one of my trips home I ran into a family that can help us and that I told them that we would join them when you had woken up but I don't know if there still where they told me that they had settled in at.
In my head I mean in the show Morgans wife was dead when dad met them so I don't know if they have already left for Atlanta or if they are still at that house.
Rick: as we walk down the hall I say well if they're still there then we'll meet up with them at the house they told you.
Right as I turn the corner to the hall that leads to the other wing and see bodies littering the hall.
Ianthe: We stop at the entrance of the hall and I look at dad to see his expression on his face when he sees the bodies on the ground.
Rick: with a shocked look i walk down the hall seeing dead bodies on each side of the hall.
Ianthe: walking behind him I say "you the door there that is where they locked up most of the ones that had come back to life".
Pointing to the door that is chained shut at the end of the hall that has writing on it saying "do not open dead are inside".
Rick: walking closer to the door, I jump back when something starts banging against it and hearing moaning sounds as the banging against the door gets more violent.
Ianthe: I ran up to dad grabbing dad by the shoulder with the bags still in my hand trying to pull him back.
But as I do the chain breaks that had locked the walkers on that side of the door.
I give dad my bags and take out my gun as the walkers start to pile out.
Rick: Ianthe! No!
Ianthe: But dad there no longer alive as we back up with me still pointing my gun at them.
Rick: We don't know that as we walk backwards I yell "HOLT I AM A POLICE OFFICER STAY BACK DON'T COME ANY CLOSER" as I see some of their faces ripped off and some missing body parts.
Ianthe: I yell "DAD WE HAVE TO GO"! but seeing him still not wanting to believe I shot one of them in the chest.
Rick: Seeing the one that Ianthe shot right in the chest that should kill most people still coming towards us I had no choice but to believe what she told me.
Ianthe: "DAD CAN WE GO NOW"! as we reach the end of the hall and turn running to the stairs.
(After leaving the hospital)
Ianthe: after we had left the hospital dad had been quiet the whole time as we made our way to meet Morgan and his family we also had taken out a few walkers on the way.
Being a few houses away from where Morgan and his family said that they had held up in I broke the awkward silence saying " dad do you see now that they're really dead I know how hard it is to accept but.."
Rick: it's not that I'm worried about, it's that your mother and little brother are gone and being that we can't get in touch with them not knowing what situation that they're in is what I'm worried about.
