At ch.20, you could finish reading the story. It could have been a short story with no problems. If this couple were a colour, it would be beige. I am probably going to keep reading because I am curious... There is nowhere near enough grovelling. The lack of communication is beyond almost any other book I have read. The main couple don't seem to talk about anything. Or spend time together. Or have a relationship. You could think they just happened to live in the same house and kiss sometimes. There isn't a very strong connection. He is oblivious about everything. It's like he doesn't think he has to say anything, every. About anything. She is a complete doormat. It's like being hit by the car and having a new chance at life was just something that happened. She pretty much acted the same. If it wasn't for her having a slightly out of character moment that had a butterfly effect on the situation, you could be mistaken in thinking everything was going to happen the exact same way. I think what annoyed me the most was that I can see the potential. It's not original, there is nothing new here. But even with all the similar themes, it could have been more engaging. The brothers's wife and kids were only in a few lines, but they interested me more than anyone else.
I read a few chapters but gave up because it doesn’tt better. FL is basically an abuse victim-everything is controlled by ML and she has no money or friends outside the ML’s family. In comes the ex-girlfriend but ML doesn’t make things clear to her. At the same time, FL acts as if she doesn’t want him anymore but still clamoring for him. Just no. I give up.

This kind of story that is full of misunderstandings is really not my cup of tea. A simple explanation would have solved all the problems. (And probably cut the story writing by half) 😅
i hope this gets picked! love that the story is different than other rebirth-and-divorce novels.fl character is a bit stupid or naive, but considering the family history, I can see why she behaves that way. but I think her character will develop more later.already read up to chp40 and looks like ml is quite okay. a bit too domineering but seems to love fl so much. just that, even after that big misunderstanding, why did he keep secret again about her condition? can't you just tell and discuss together?can't give it full 5stars because the author/translator keep messing up with the brothers names. no major mistakes but get annoying if repeated.

I hate lies. I hate it when one is not honest and open enough to share his shortcomings making the other person wallow in doubts and self-pity. Dropping this novel. It seems a waste of time waiting for the Male Lead to tell the truth. And it seems useless for the Female Lead to be reborn when all she did was drown herself in misery
This book is definitely not for me. The FL is the proper definition of "Doormat" . She keeps everything bottled up and keeps jumping to conclusions which leads to unnecessary misunderstandings.The ML is super annoying and keeps hiding important information from her all in the name of "for your own good"I honestly couldn't even be bothered to read past the free chapters. It was just too frustrating

I didn't even finish the chapter 13 the words push over just keep coming to mind... I really want to slap some sence into her.. I don't like this type of FL you don't have to be a shrew but can you be smarter.. seems like she has been groomed into uselessness i mean you broke up with your BF move out and get a freaking job and social life should be your next move.... and I won't even start with him because I won't ever finish... 40 chapters is not going to give me the character development I need to be interested in this book. maybe if chosen I'll pick it up agan .
Not sure how I feel about this. In a way it could be seen like he isolated her, groomed her to be what he liked and made her so dependent on him. It seems like Stockholm Syndrome?? All the extra details in the novel makes it feel like a controlling abusive relationship and the FL is so timid she seems like a victim of domestic abuse. IDK, I do understand why she would be like that with how her family is. I just think it's so sad that she's always waiting for him to come home and it seems like that's all she ever does. Might continue reading but with how the ML is, I might drop it later on....

Tbh, idk what to think of this novel and its synopsis because if he had never had any 1st love, then that means the ring he was picking was for the FL?! But the supposed 1st love with whom he was picking that ring was some childhood sweetheart? white lotus Mei Mei wishing to 'help' her gege and specifically made everything known to his wife? some green tea, who has been admiring ML and is driving wedge between him and FL? also, the title, which means before rebirth she hasn't been beloved of the said family?

I have read this novel twice maybe a like the female lead s weak charachter bringing out male lead love and care for her. Definitely one unlucky female but still got the loving family and pampering of her husban.would have liked ke if there were bit more chapters for the ending
