Chapitre 229: Who Is That In His Arms?

Avelina lifted her head, glimpsing his expression. She blinked her eyes and averted her gaze, not exactly sure what to say in response to his statement. There was some sort of emotion behind those words, but she could not seem to pinpoint it. 

They arrived at the general foyer, but before they could exit the building to his garage, they came face to face with Ryan who was walking hand in hand with his wife, Natasha. 

Avelina's eyes met those of Natasha's gray orbs. She could glimpse a deadly glint flash in her pupils. 

"Bitch…" Natasha mouthed, having this expression of disdain. 

Avelina arched her brows before rolling her eyes. It was clear that she couldn't care less, but quite amused by Natasha's childish behavior, she could not help but chuckle beneath her breath. 

Of course, this didn't pass Natasha's notice. She bared her nails, the urge to cut Avelina's skin overwhelming her.
